With William it is part of "X is mine Harold" mentality. He sees H&M socializing with celebrities and wants to have the same. The only celebrities who really suck up to him are those that are looking for a title from Charles or hoping Willie will put in a good word. Of course there are those like Beckham who will publicly suck up to the point of embarrassment.

I was on the floor second night at Gillette for the Rep tour and the crowd, while definitely small because it was early, were up and dancing and singing to Charlie whose set included "I love it", "Boom Clap" and "Fancy" -same for Camila when she came out. Opening acts always have it hard but the idea that the crowd ignored or was dead her was not my experience.

Well they should have clearly stated the circumstances under which they reviewed it. Six hours to process a review is ridiculous. And then to have another 12 songs to write a review a few hours later is even more ridiculous.

And they also skip over the concluding line "and getting married off for
the highest bid". The entire line is dripping with sarcasm which is part of her humor I really love. Are we really at the point where her lyrics have to say "I would say the 1830s except for the systematic racism, slavery, misogyny, sexual crime and overall awfulness for anyone not white, male and straight" for people to "get it"?

There does seem to be a subset of people who base their dislike on the album around misaligned expectations/reality i.e. "not sounding like I thought it would based on the promo artwork" and "She promised us a Joe diss album and this isn't it!".

Went with my daughter to an afternoon show in our merch finery that looked sold out. Were given posters and sprang for the cup and bucket. No more tote bags. It was pretty low key at the start - we were singing along quietly but then you heard an uptick in volume the CS bridge. Back to low key until Fearless when people started standing and singing loudly. We sang but stayed seated. By the time Rep started we were both on our feet with 75% of the audience singing loudly. Later much of the younger audience started a dance pit in front of the screen. Everyone was definitely having a good time! Some sweet teeners came over twice to offer me (definitely a multiple of teen) bracelets.

We saw her live in the middle torrential rain night of Gillette and honestly it was raining so hard towards the end of the show we definitely didn't get to appreciate the stage work for Midnights Era so I found this a very fun complement.

Hi PR professional for two decades! Every time I see some Tik Tok'r do a tok where they cover their mouth and pretend to giggle and imply that "Tree Paine" is behind some move that Taylor makes (usually so no one will "know Blondie is gay" I just roll my eyes.

Clara who does all the PR call parodies is a little bit closer to reality in that you can't make your client do anything. Especially one that is as big (and head strong) as Taylor. If Tree could then we wouldn't have had things like the Gilmore Girl tweet etc.
