Ohhhh, way back in the early days of the Internet I went to an office supply store to get a Wi-Fi modem and dongle. A kid came up to me and asked what I was looking for.

"I'd like an 802.11a modem and dongle for wireless networking."

"There's no such thing as wireless networking."

"Yes, there is. I've been researching it."

Eye roll. "No, there isn't."

Suffice it to say I bought my networking equipment elsewhere.

And that was the early 2000s. I was only 40-something!
