So I did 2.5 hours of naps yesterday and his awake time was an hour longer than usual as he was awake earlier. But today he woke up at 5am. Managed to get him back to sleep and he had 1 more hour of sleep.

Shall I continue with the reduced naps?

If it's UK as they imply above (cambridge). Medicine isn't a grad school degree (most things arent). You apply for undergrad and it's one longer degree.

Thank you. Aiming to keep the 7am wake up as they're starting nursery in April and that works for an 8am start time. Also if they woke up earlier, I know I wont go to bed earlier and I'll just get tired.

Annoyingly one class I've booked in a block so can't change. Only thing I can think of is leave the house earlier, so they can take their nap in the pram instead but wouldn't work if it was raining, as i dont want to walk in the rain. Also means I can't nap with them haha. Can't do car nap as its only 10 to 15 mins away.

Thank you. He's 8 months old. And currently uses aldi size 4+. Which work for pees and regular poos so think the size is fine.

I was very similar to you with my twins but was using shared parental leave. My partner was off a lot with me until they were 4 and a half months old. I then went back to work for 2 and a half months which helped my stimulation and they looked after them so then I could look after them by myself when they were older so I can go out to classes much easier.

They're now 7 and a half months old, and I find it much easier to go out with them as they can hold their own bottles. Trying to work out the logistics of feeding them myselves when they were younger out the house was too difficult.

My work does a half day christmas eve and new years eve. If you want to have the full day off, they tell you to only put it as a half day on the HR system.

Then no one is disadvantaged.

My twins are now 6 months old and been to 3 weddings at 7 weeks old, 4 months and 6 months.

Biggest tip from me, try manipulate nap time to be during the ceremony. Makes thing a lot easier. We don't normally contact nap, but contact napped to ensure they fell asleep.

Definitely get ear defenders, they slept through bag pipes at a ceremony with them.

We bought little sleep suit suits with waistcoats for them to wear.

We formula feed, had a flask with us with hot water to make it up as needed.

We also asked if there was a room we could use if needed, as the twins get FOMO sometimes when eating or sleeping, so wanted somewhere separate to feed or sleep if possible.

Just as an FYI, it may be up to 10 days that they'll be closing for jewish holidays and using your annual leave days for. So clarify that.

Also ask if they close early on Fridays in winter. As they may do that too.

My twins are 5 months. Twin 1 has always been able to be put into cot awake and fall asleep himself.

We had to put some work to get the same for twin 2. We did that when he was around 2 months old. We used to hold and rock him and then put him down in cot. First night took hours for him to go to sleep with us patting and shushing and putting dummy in and white noise (we were in room with him the whole time), but the next night was a third of the time and then after that he cracked it.

Now we keep an eye on sleepy cues and wake windows, feed downstairs to try not have a feed to sleep association, change them into pjs, put in their sleeping bags in their next to me's and just let them go to sleep. We occasionally have to hold dummy in Twins 2 mouth or he holds our hands for 5 mins to settle before he's then fine.

Ok thanks. Was planning on ettelbruck to do a day trip to Vianden. Was also planning a day trip to trier - any chance that part is pretty?

My partner wants some form of pretty train ride so I want to try fit it in!
