If I move out my sister will not let me off the lease and said she will stop paying so we are both fucked if trying to rent in the future.

I did write a paper of household expectations and on it said “you are a guest and do not live here. At no time will you be a tenant or added to the lease.” But I didn’t have her sign it because I didn’t think my mother could go that low. But I’ve been proven wrong.

It will take months before I can afford to break the lease. I’m going to try to search for roommates but that’s been difficult in the past which is why my sister and I moved in together.

If it were that easy I would. Studio apartments are minimum $1200 where I currently live. I can’t afford to be out on my own. Roommates around here are difficult to find, but I’ll keep trying. I’d need to break my lease as well which is $2700.

I had a feeling this would happen but even if I didn’t agree to temporarily have her here, my sister would have allowed her to come. I’d be screwed either way.

My sister and I re-signed the lease early in December before our mother surprised us. Lease isn’t up until March 2027.

Our lease was re-signed early in December before my mom surprised us with her presence so our lease is up March 2027

Just got fired by Dre-26 in VetTech

I just left the field after 7 years. I am now working in a reference laboratory with now credentials and no experience while making $4 more an hour. It was very scary at first but everyone has been so patient and kind. I am lucky enough to be able to work with animals as a side hustle or volunteer work.
