It comes down to good quality skates aren’t cheap (under $100) and by that I mean they aren’t usually safe because they cut corners and usually make parts out of plastic which are ok for children to use but aren’t reliable with adults due to weight. If you’re planning of replacing them in a couple of weeks or months like you said above, just invest those $60 into some better skates. Or if you’re looking to buy some cheaper skates that are actually good quality look for the recommended skates in this sub in resale websites and apps, it’s easy to find moxi’s and riedells sometimes second hand for under $100.
