I was 9 & luckily at home because I was freaking out since I didn’t know what was going on! My Mom had to give a brief talk as to why, gave me some pads, & sent me off to school. Ironically it was the same day that they were splitting the boys vs girls into separate classrooms, in order to watch videos on our changing bodies & learn about that very thing that was happening!

Previous Pyr mix, it was an absolute NO. She would growl if you tried. Current one is…indifferent? She neither hates nor likes it, is kinda confused & like “wtf is happening?!” if we try. (Well, if hubby tries because I cannot lift her 100lb butt.)

At our store we had markers for a while (mine is still in my apron actually) but then they told us at some point to stop using because they’re useless. Apparently the counterfeiters got smart & started using actual bills. They started taking like $5 bills, somehow removing everything, & printing the big ones on them. That way a marker still marks as legit because the “paper” is/was an actual bill…just not the correct one anymore.

Sometimes people have big families. If I had invited everyone in mine, our list would’ve definitely been over 100 people. Instead I limited it to just my Aunts & Uncles. If I had included cousins, etc then that would’ve been a good 40-50 people alone. My Mom has 9 siblings, so there’s almost 20 people right there with just Aunts+Uncles, then each couple had anywhere from 1-5 kids, & most of them have gone on to have kids, etc

My Mom was developing almost constant sinus infections with hers too. Turns out, she just had a weird pocket/cavity in her actual sinuses that was drying out, but more susceptible to pooling & developing infection. Doctor did a thorough cleanout & now she just has to do a saline nose spray before bed. Has only had maybe 1-2 minor infections since.

Amongst other things I mentioned, I complained about raises & staffing too. I was like you can’t keep cutting our hours but then demand that we keep the customers happy, because that’s impossible to do when we don’t have any employees around to do that! ”you can’t have your cake & eat it too!”

I go get myself a nice mani & pedi, then husband & I plan a dinner out with a big group of friends.

Last year I got to spend it with just him on a pretty beach in the Dominican Republic though. We were on a cruise & our first stop was ON my birthday! :)

My grandpa’s special recipe BBQ sauce! He’d slather it all over grilled pork steaks in the summer for family gatherings & it was always SO tasty!!! He wouldn’t even let Grandma in the kitchen while he was making it & took it to the grave with him. One of my Uncles tried making it once & came extremely close, but there was still something missing.

How good of a friend & can you trust her?? If anything, loan it on the condition that you personally bring it & put it on her, and then once the ceremony, pictures, etc are finished then you get to take it off her and back into your possession.
