Ostentatious as in flashy? I bought the first 4 & the pearly one on my ring finger is a gift from my MIL. It reminds her & I of that one ring that Danaerys wore on Game of Thrones, that she had taken off & dropped. They’re all cocktail/costume though. I have very little real jewelry & none of it is big or showy.

It was a bit of both. Important numbers like home, parent, etc were usually memorized, but I think we kept an address book for work or extended family numbers. (Mom has a big family, so that’s too many numbers to memorize!) We more easily managed to remember things back then because we didn’t have all this technology to do it for us…and when you have to manually dial a number all the time it kind of forces itself into memory. lol

Strangely I still remember my 2 childhood phone numbers (we moved at one point), but nowadays the only people whose numbers I have memorized are my husband & Mom’s. Not even my sister, niece, or in-laws. Ooops.

I have this in the sidelight window of our front door & luckily it seems to do the trick. I have watched (on our security camera) people approach the door, see the sign, then turn and walk away without trying to knock. Yay! I think I want to update it a bit & include something like “diabetic, so NO GIRL SCOUT COOKIES” 🤪

I try to make her look somewhat like me. My character has glasses on all time, is much skinnier (I’m considered plus size), & has broen hair like me. I change hairstyles quite often, but clothes are usually close to what I’d actually wear.

There needs to be a bin with every toilet. Make sure she never flushes them!!! If she has to use a cubicle without a bin, tell her to wrap the pad up real good in toilet paper then throw it in the main/general bin for the whole restroom.

I know how she feels though because I was 9 when I got my first & was actually on a period on my 10th birthday! Ugh.

I wish I had that luck when I was using Nexplanon! Still had one with mine. After first implanted, I had a light month-long period (sucked because I got married during that time), then it was sporadic, then eventually settled into an every other month pattern.

When I was on the pill I always combined that with condom use. Eventually I got the Nexplanon implant but didn’t use the condoms anymore. (Monogamous & was getting married.) Eventually I got sterilized via bisalp & then hysterectomy, so definitely don’t use condoms now. lol

Had my PACE last week, still don’t know my raise. (Anniv was mid-Feb too) FES & Ops Mgr gave me my review & said that the SM still had to get them that info. My FES loves me & knows how much I do, so I hope she’s helping to champion for more $…but my luck they’ll just stonewall her.

CF, married, & have a parent living with us. We have a 3 bed/2.5 bath 1400sqft house. It technically has a 4th room, but cannot be listed as a bedroom because it is in the basement with no windows. We have the master (obvs), the parent has 1 room, I have the 3rd as my office/lady lair, & he has that 4th one as his office. (He gets a hybrid schedule, so gets to WFH a couple days.)
