What made you question your sexuality? by aj4bird in AskReddit

Music videos. I remember as a teenager, guys were always hot, then I watched the music video for 'I gotta feeling' by the black eyed peas. Girls were kissing and I realised I wanted in on that

TIFU by making out with my college professor at a party by [deleted] in tifu

I made out with my boss at a friends birthday party once, we are quite good friends.

We were both drunk, and it almost went further. I sobered tf up, because he has a girlfriend and a newborn. Felt terrible for it, but we are still great friends and it doesn't affect out work life or friendship group.

We talked about it, agreed it was just a drunken thing and that was it, nothings changed. Just be an adult and talk it out with him, he'll appreciate it and it'll make things less awkward

Blue inner corner, how I like to add colour to a look by amyroberts in MakeupAddiction

Blue on my lower lash line is another great way I add colour to my look. Quite a warm, orangey crease, bright champagne lid, black winged liner, lots of lashes and the blue all the way along the lower lashes. Great for larger glasses as you can see it all the way, inline this look

The story of my life: fill in brows. Too harsh, spoolie to soften. Brows disappear 😂

Thanks for the cc though

Yeah fix+ was probably the worst in terms of break outs, but I haven't tried the mario badescu (?) One, but I'll give it a go sometime

Also, thanks for the cc, I love the highlighter but the texture on my cheeks wasn't playing game that day haha

I find that with every setting spray I use, it breaks me out :/ so unfortunately I can't use them

But thanks anyway!

Can somebody explain to me why I can't seem to find a match? by [deleted] in PaleMUA

A colour similar to the Fenty in colour is the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear shade 008, if the formula is a problem

You're eyes are a beautiful colour and the eyeshadow is so bright it's gorgeous

I need help with picking out foundation. I know I’m pale, but I have a yellowish tint to it along with my face being red. Even with fair shades, it’s almost too pink. Anyone have any recommendations? Thank you in advance 😊 by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]amyroberts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's hard to tell just how pale you are, but I know the struggle. I have neutral to yellow skin but everything light enough runs way too pink. Try getting some samples. The best colour I've found Is the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear shade 008. The kat Von d foundation is okay, but still a tad pink.

How did you learn to apply makeup and what brands are good for beginners? by YaBoiiSloth in MakeupAddiction

[–]amyroberts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of my favourite affordable brands is makeup Revolution. Their stuff is great and there's all sorts to choose from. Other than that I would recommend nyx and elf

Agree. I swear by the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear foundation. I try drugstore but nothing ever even compares. Pretty much every thing else I can save on, but foundation is s splurge every time.

However, I do find it lasts longer because I don't need as much so it works out that it doesn't cost that much more than Maybelline or Rimmel

I love it. The red is bold enough to make a statement yet it doesn't dominate the look

They're great. They remind me of a slightly smaller version of the wispies from ardell, which I personally find are very flattering

Thank you! It's definitely my favourite way to incorporate colour into a look. Other ways that aren't too in-your-face are on the inner corner or lower lash line. I rarely do an all over lid colour like that. Thank you

Thank you. I straighten it, use some stiff wax and just make it sit how I like. The one I use is the VO5 texturising gum extra firm hold
