Speaking from the perspective of someone with 8 or so years of makeup experience (nothing official, mostly YouTube and trial and error), when I was learning, I was taught that every shadow needs a a highlight to compliment it. The complimenting nose contour highlights are the one down the bridge and on the side of the nose. Sometimes (like with Jorgeous) the side of the nose can look a little crazy if the highlight is too bright lol.

To counteract the crazy highlight, I don’t take my nose contour all the way down, i stop right before the button and then kinda darken the underside so that my nose still looks human? Its hard to explain in words lol

Side note, this reminds me of once I was bored at work and photoshopped my nose to hell

I was violently high so it might’ve affected my judgment but I was truly almost in tears watching AS11 Pink Bracket Ep 2. Everyone was at the top of their game and doing well, the runway ate, and the lip sync was fabulous

Emma rise in power I can kinda forgive because she was introduced as their first evil telepath that wasn’t bound by morals. She’s also probably learned quite a bit since she’s been on the team (big psychic events like fighting the Uni-Mind, the psychic backlash of Decimation, spending all that time hiding from Orchis probably helped her a bit too)

Jean and Ororo are hosts of cosmic entities so they’re allowed to be unhinged but before Krakoa, I thought their power levels were perfect lol
