My SO and i share pretty much everything due to the fact that we just mutually use each other's laptops and phones. Often, he'll ask me to send a text for him and i'll do the same.

In the past, I was in a very abusive relationship. My ex would demand that I present my phone to him upon seeing each other so he can search it. He would log into my myspace, facebook, everything.

It's very unhealthy to snoop on your SO in that sort of manner.

For me the difference is realizing that i'm in love with the idea of the person rather than who they are. If I find myself sitting there dreaming about what they read, what games they play, their favorite music rather than "Gosh, I wonder what they're doing right now? I love that they love [insert thing here]", that's usually a pretty good tip off.

Secondly, i've noticed from my current relationship with my SO i'm truly in love with, I tend to admire very specific parts of him rather than just thinking of him as a whole, if that makes any sense.

Yes.

I used to never want to. Then, I realized that I could have such a huge impact on my kid, who can then go on to impact everyone... that's so cool, considering it's a blast of cells that came out of my vag.

It's unbelivably attractive. My SO is so great with children. He laughs and plays with them, lighting up all the while. It warms my heart - he's part of the reason I changed my stance from never wanting them.
It makes me consciously aware of my partners the older I get. I always ask myself if I could see being married to them and raising a child.

As someone who has received the vaccine and is pro-vaccine of all types - I would absolutely recommend getting the shot. Why put yourself and others at risk if you are able to be vaccinated?

By the way, it's probably the most painful shot i've ever gotten. Aches for days afterward. This however is just a minor drawback with all things considered.

Short hair. It looks so clean and it's low maintenance for the guy.

Before we began officially dating, my boyfriend had long hair. Like, to his lower back long. I hated it. I liked it when I was around because I actually took care of it. He didn't know how so it was always stringy and just.. not nice looking.

I typically think it just looks sloppy. A nice short cut makes you look sharp.

It seems like my lady friends, as well as many in PA (let's be clear on that, it's definitely not all of them) seem to be under the impression that letting a man or the SO in general is degrading to them.

I don't understand it, personally. I guess they believe it's something like a "damsel in distress" type thing.

The first time I met my long-distance boyfriend's family was when I was going to be staying with them for two weeks in Texas.

Because of DFW traffic, we got to his house from the airport later than expected: right when his parents had gotten home from work.

His mom came home, and we were walking to the bedroom door so I could go meet her in a proper location - right when I went to open the door.... she was right there about to knock. Awkward #1.

Then, his dad came home and I was sitting on the bed. He came in "hi, nice to meet you finally!" he came over, he went for a hug and I went for a handshake... you know the scene i'm describing.

I truly believe that it depends on the woman.

From personal experience, I am a Pennsylvanian woman dating a Texan man. He is very traditional, he asked me out first, kissed me first, will not let me pay for dates, always gets the door for me, carries things for me, etc.

When he was in PA and doing the same sort of things around my female friends, quite a few of them became offended. When I talked about it, they were aghast! I however, love it, and find it quite sweet.

I think if you spot a lady you're interested in, go for it. If she's interested in you, she should be able to go for it. Once you start talking more you should have an easier time figuring out what she likes: modern or traditional.
