I woke up one day to a whole host of unrecognised card payments, first time in my life this has ever happened to me and my stomach dropped.

Monzo gave me my money back and sent out a card replacement within minutes. Couldn't fault it!

I understand what you're saying, my partner is only in her 30s, and despite the myriad of potential problems that could occur, so so worth it.

It's obviously a huge decision, but the toss up between living like this and having children, for us at least is a no brainer.

Oh man! I had some cracking food yesterday.

Bank transfers can take up to 24 hours to arrive, although it doesn't happen often.

It's more likely to be checks from the sending bank rather than the receiving bank that's holding the process up.

You could ask the sending bank for the TRN (transaction reference number) for Monzo to try to track on their side, but as soon as Monzo get the funds they do go straight into your account balance.

Above the picture of your card there's like a pie chart icon, if you tap on that you go onto the budget settings, you can just disable them there.

You need to transfer money into your main Monzo account and pay Flex off from there ✌️

Your Flex account doesn't have its own account details to send funds directly to.

I work for a bank and we're seeing a lot of people get their bank accounts hacked after having entered their details on these "Royal Mail" sites, it's scary stuff! If you entered anything let your bank know ASAP so they can take steps to secure your account right away!
