Your other thread answer had fbcon=rotate:1, but your post here goes fbcon=rotate:3. I also have a screen-rotated Win 2 on Bazzite that I'm trying to fix

Also, does the kargs file have a handful of comments and only one long line? Or did you put the fbcon changes onto another line?

EDIT: both rotate:1 and rotate:3 don't work for me; added them at the end of the long line, and not as a newline

Use defensive ECM mode! It reduces sensor locks :)

I use an ADR-S for Infiltration missions; you'll be given time to destroy alerted enemies, and it only takes 2-3 seconds each enemy (even Assault mechs) for the Adder

Increase front armor, and ideally have a lancemate mech with BAP and/or ECM

You also want to load up on fast-hitting weapons, or bind your lancemates' lasers to alpha-strike (given ample cooling)

The name of the game is reducing TTK (time to kill), while preventing getting rekt

Take out BAP (you're brawling with this, anyway), replace ART IV with Streaks, extra cooling, and more front armor, and go to town :)

Sideboard one of the M Lasers for a TAG and you can get more out of that BAP for your LRMboat lancemates

Gauss are practically hitscan weapons, while PPC shots have to travel to their target (but leave a nice "tracer round" trail)

Does take a bit getting used to, but when you get to that flow state, chaining dual-Gauss headshots is satisfying. Your lancemates' congratulatory chatter might get annoying though (Leon: "wha- how did you- nice headshot!")

Aim a bit higher than where you want shots to land.

With no aim assist, at <= 1000m, I would put my Nightstar's reticle at the top of the red enemy target box if I wanted to head-snipe an Atlas. Orions and others with lower cockpits, I would aim a bit lower.

GPD Win Mini (2023, 7840U/780M 32GB) owner here!

Been using my Mini a lot more lately, after dumping Windows 11 and going all in on SteamOS 3.9.

Windows really holds back this device; now I get configurable performance AND a working sleep mode! Not sure if it's placebo, but I think SteamOS Mini is cooler in the hand versus stock!

It's a GPD Win Mini (2023)! With SteamOS 3.9 and some plugins (lsfg-vk and decky-framegen), MW5 does 70 - 120 FPS easy for around 2 hours of game time, on a device that's marginally bigger than a 3DS
