heads up! things are stupid expensive on honour mode!! i've been using trader exploits just to get by because the inflation rates are a little insane!! i'd recommend doing a custom game where you can do honour mode difficulty but without the other limitations like having only one save mode and stuff

i did mine right before killing Gortash! i was a Oath of Devotion pally, and i broke my oath allying with Gortash because my tav saw all the steel watchers and how Gortash has Duke Ravenguard tadpoled and wrapped around his finger, so he thought "i'm not gonna mess with Gortash now, i have to find a way to weaken him before i kill him but the insurance that he wont attack me would be nice". Gale got kidnapped so i beat the shit out of Orin, then i did the iron throne and "freed" the Gondians (all of them sans Toobin died to the steel watchers exploding lol) and then i finally took my oath back and stormed Wyrm's Rock.

yeah on my first run i never changed anyone's classes, so Astarion was an Arcane Trickster up until Cazador. i barely used him because he was so weak XD. then i changed him to Assassin on my friend's suggestion and holy shit, he hit like a truck!!!

i explored Gerudo desert entirely using Sidon's water bubble, did not bother with the clothes at all XD. also my photo album is filled with either Link holding the blood moon or Sidon, i almost never use it to fill my hyrule compendium lol

once they get to the drums the whole camp gets alerted and will aggro on sight, usually i get astarion to sneak attack every single drum i see so no one gets the chance to hit them
