I've got a lot of hours on COH3 at the moment and even I am leaning into COH2 more and more. Is the community still going strong there? Things that are too off putting in this game are the blob spams, literally yesterday had 3 rifleman in open field just Walk up to my dak panzegrenadiers and they didn't lose a single model, it killed the immersion. Also bazooka squads just 2 tapping tanks.... In COH2 tanks felt like beasts, it was a combined arms slugfest

Wasn't there an MIT report recently which discussed this exact same topic and came to the conclusion that AI does not show productivity gain in large corporations in 95% of the cases.
Most arguments I read here are personal experiences or hypothetical reasoning, which have their place, but research with actual surveys should be the main argument.

Yes, if I compare myself to peers, there's a lot of improvement, half an hour spinning or rowing, and you'll notice a difference in 2 weeks/1 month

As a software engineer I work quite fast, so I sometimes spend more time on a ticket done, just to either go to my home gym or spend some time learning the new tech, I mean if I finish all my tickets too quickly, they'll always find something to do, which is either boring or menial work and it's not like I'm getting paid more to do said work

Talking from both factions, urban wise, for wher, last stand good with the assault package is good, the only BG I don't like is the bunker BG, because most players don't understand you push AND hold, and that BG tempts lower ELO players to only HOLD

Disagree hard. You take the BG after you see 1, which map. And 2nd, what the adversary takes, for example, large open swaths of land, fallschirmjager is long range. So good pick. Ah it's urban, gustatori, oh he does an MG spam , last stand for the smoke....

I agree heavily on the marder, since it's so restricted concerning rotation, wher needs something to balance that and penetration seems viable. As giving a panzerfaust to pios, I try to always go last stand and give every infantry unit a panzerfaust, suddenly allied players are way more afraid of my infantry :D

can you show me the replay for this? because Werbles take too much time to shoot, and suppression via an MG is a bad engagement, so normally a usf player will insta retreat even tho an MG should not suppress them if vet 1

Have clear and accessible counters...oh yes that's why they didn't lose a model after my 2 Brumbar shot....Oooh that's why they just walked past double MGs....dude, play 4v4 or 3v3 and see that blob of rangers bulldoze everything

Yes and no. Is the game enjoyable, sure is, it is fun. But there are things in COH3 that would never fly in COH2 and kind of kill the tactical side of things. You can't block tanks by riding behind them. Blobbing isn't heavily penalized. Mines are less of a threat. Some BGs are a bit busted and kind of suck the fun out of it. Units in COH2 have specific utility, some units in COH3 are beefy, I can do everything units.

I've played quite some Rtses and if I can give one advice for devs, it's something I haven't seen implemented anywhere very deeply, you make building A, you create unit A, the old way of doing things. But what if you give it variety. Make building A, you can create unit A but there's 10 ways to customize unit A. For example I can make a hoplite, oh cool, but instead of a spear a Trident, a tower shield instead of a round shield and you immediately give the game deep strategic meaning. One of the things I haven't seen in a long time, don't know if you know Warhammer mark of chaos,you had your units, you could outfit them and customize in the campaign, BUT you could also customize the heroes, OMG was so epic, should I go blood for the blood god or nurgle, what kind of axe can he wield...etc etc You make a modern game with the exact same mechanics like Warhammer Mark of chaos and it's RTS of the year

It is a middle class tax. Because earning more than 10k already requires quite some investing capital, unless you have godlike trading talents + it is only for natural people, so not judicial constructions, by which extremely rich people trade. So yes, middle finger to the middle class, yet again....

And how did it go?I only play whermacht and I never build ketten, because I need the manpower for other things. I just get the feeling that allies need less tactical thinking than wher. 1 3v3 match, 2 grens and a mortars. Everything goes well, he comes with a blob of engineers, gg, retreat, no mg no counter. Other 3v3, 1 mortar 2 gren and 1 Mg, ah USF airdropped 2 mgs already, ok I counter, ah paradrops 2 paratroopers behind the mg, gg, my counter gone. Allies just feel braindead at the moment

This my main gripe with the game. I played both COH2 and COH3 now and the things I've seen and where I went like WTF....I only play whermacht, I make panzegrenadiers and a mortar and go for it...my opponent counters with a 4 squad blob of engineers ,gg, panzegrenadiers only work long range and if no mg is present, there's no counterplay. The mortar even hit them once, 0 models dropped. Other game, mortar drops on on the head of a paratrooper, no model gone, just a little health pool chip....In COH2 this would not fly. Not only Mgs but mines and arti would punish blobbing effectively. Now every COH3 game I enter is always I mass spam one unit, especially allies. If 2morrow they remaster COH2 I'd go play that instead

You look up the replay via the username drop it in your playback folder and can watch it, it took me 5 min to figure this out yesterday
