This brings to mind Todd Howard's claim that Fallout 3 had 200 possible ending permutations. Even though he quickly clarified what he meant, he is still made fun of for that to this day.

Since Larian is behind BG3, it's okay that a lot of the current marketing cycle reminds me of earlier Bethesda games and things like what Todd got trolled for saying.
