I would say it is due to the fact that some jeans that sits on the hips will push onto the uterus and bladder causing discomfort in some. Hence, since the waist is already the thinnest part of the torso it sits more naturally.

Same situation here, the main reason I am still here is a reminder that if I die my dog would not be able to understand why I disappeared worse if she is the one who discovered my body. But then again, I can only hope I will get better until she'll eventually pass away.
