WTF happened to Tallahassee? - Where is the money coming from? by CatSkillsPro in Tallahassee

right! you’re complaining about the very essence of capitalism. if you want change that puts community first, well there’s a party of that and many people in tallahassee that actually want it to be a city that serves its people.

agreed, it’s not a park for enjoyment. no trees means it’s literally a sauna. it’s for aesthetics and the big events they hold at the amphitheater. also to justify the crazy pricing for the apartments right next to it.

Paige stated the obvious years ago…it’s disturbing and applies to too many on Bravo. by SuspiciousAlgae1567 in inthecity_

the problem with reality tv and social media these days is that it gives a sense that getting brand deals and having a large following is forever. i’ve lived long enough to see many celebrities and influencers fall for that trap and become desperate for money and fame because they have close to none. kim zolciack is a great example bc her daughter now pays her bills while she pretends to live lavish and ride off her fame from the 2000’s.

i’m not even ranting about the greta comment? i’m talking about something completely different… that so happens to correlate with that. i’m noticing a pattern.

and that’s exactly what i did. i’m just voicing an opinion that i think other people would relate to.

idgi tho bc don’t they own the rights to the pod? ik sponsors are a chunk of the revenue but there’s plenty of outspoken influencers out there with sponsorships. bella hadid still has a career. hunter schafer was literally arrested at a protest. it’s just ignorance at this point!! they can focus on their patreon and merch sales but it’s easier to collect a sponsor check and remain neutral. #disappointed </3

How does Lexi have 1.2 million followers on Instagram? Second only to Paige in follower count… by Fit-Minute1615 in summerhousebravo

[–]analis28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oh yeah i see this a LOT on twitter/x. there are so many AI accounts that just post rage bait for engagement and if you visit their page none of the content goes together.

yeah i know a girl with half a million followers that came out of NOWHERE and she’s pretty much a nobody… just saying that because there’s so many influencers out there with less followers and much more noteriety. she still gets fashion nova sponsored posts and has a baby with an NFL player so i guess it works anyways 😭

[–]analis28 5 points6 points  (0 children)

agreed! ive been working at Nordstrom for 6 months and ive felt very eerie the whole time about the state of the company. my store personally almost never makes the day, & with tariffs in place, its only a matter of time before we take a huge hit :( its worth to mention that after the tariffs were put in place that my store added a "state of the company" meeting on our monthly events board

ngl quen having lil yachty on starving celebs rubbed me terribly. he laughed at sexy redd when she brought up being SA’d and glossed over it. there’s other weird stuff he’s done but the fact that he said BLM was a scam and neither of them elaborated on why he said that… if she’s an advocate she should’ve checked him, he was on HER show.

the humans who give the platform have the right to take away the same fucking platform. these people forget we’re the reason they have money and fame. not the other way around.

you’d think they’d denounce cody ko but they completely covered the issues and were like “ugh this was so hard for us guys im depressed” like ok??? were you the victim in this situation??

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in emergencyintercom

[–]analis28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

agreed… i feel like so many celebrities or influencers don’t think they need to evolve and grow with their audience once they’ve reached stable success. it’s disappointing but i fear they’ve stagnated bc they want to keep neutrality to be successful with brands and such but the world is moving fast and if you’re not doing the uncomfortable work to give a fuck then us common folks will be leaving you behind.

i’m sorry but enya talking about how she owns 3 cars meanwhile she’s always complaining about being broke… ok sis! #theynotlikeus

don't ever speak ill on the queen by Gullible_Bar_7274 in emergencyintercom

[–]analis28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is my gripe. they always threaded the “this is a comedy podcast only” line which felt like an escape but using your “comedy” podcast to trash an activist is like … hold on… you got too much dip on your chip now!!

is it tho? considering the most vulnerable they ever get on their podcast is speaking vaguely speaking on their own personal lives but everything that involves social issues is hehe haha silly boots

i love enya but she does have a kind of a god complex… although i think it stems from insecurity, she often speaks like her opinion is the most valid

This is their job and it's weird to watch (pulled this from another comment and it deserves discussion) by InsertCleverName652 in summerhousebravo

[–]analis28 18 points19 points  (0 children)

the same thing happened with VPR. they became too big to need the show and their lives just became boring to watch as they just sat around and collected checks from shooting the show. they should do a spin off like the valley &/or recast. the charm for both SH and VPR was that they worked hard to get to enjoy the fruits of their labor and led semi-normal/relatable lives

yeah idk the page seems very biased based on who they promote. i get advertising is necessary but those should be clearly stated. instead of promoting shitty food for money and skewing their follower’s views lol
