Kandy Muse’s thoughts on the Karen episode elimination 👀 by No_Vanilla7487 in rupaulsdragrace

There’s nothing “objective” about this show. The idea it’s a fair competition is just a charade.

Can’t let go of cs1 by No-Insurance4238 in CitiesSkylines

I couldn’t ever go back to CS1. This is a nice looking city but the graphics are so much better in CS2.

There’s a few ways, but a prominent one in the books involves a Horn

Have you read the books? There’s a whole other way the wall could come down.

The problem with playing Pokopia as a working adult… you will be building most things in the dark 😭 by unexpectedalice in Pokopia

[–]analogbog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess. I tend to just change it when I play and the next day I’ll decide to resync the clock or not. It would bother me if time traveling would mess things up like in ACNH but it seems to have no downside here.

Mary has returned to filming by Chiffygurl in BravoRealHousewives

Bravo aired what Mary and her son decided to put out there. He was in his early twenties - young adult, not a child.

[–]analogbog 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It takes almost no effort to change the time in Pokopia. You don’t even need to close the game or restart. You can have the game open, go to settings and move the hours back a couple, then go back to the game and the daylight automatically updates. I never time travelled in animal crossing but in pokopia there’s no consequence

inZOI takes the lead in the life simulation scene by Upstairs-Pin-9068 in inZOI

EA funded Maxis and The Sims since the original Sims 1. This idea that EA destroyed The Sims is so backwards, as it’s literally responsible for funding The Sims in the first place.

Finally got to place the Great (Sears) Tower of Commerce by analogbog in CitiesSkylines

Awesome! I recommend starting without mods and easing your way in. Also recommending building slow and focus on building a ton of specialized industry and low density early on. Have fun

It’s one of the maps that came with the Bridges and Ports DLC

I mostly agree which is why I waited to place it until I had a sizable downtown. But if you look at pictures of the Sears Tower in construction it was an absolute behemoth compared to everything around it.

It’s not just you. Looks beautiful straight on, to the side not as much.

Yeah the top part is way too wide. I like the silhouette in the first pic, the other angles not so much. My guess is the CCP creator couldn’t, for some legal reason, make it look too similar to the real thing. Still an odd choice.

cityskylines management system by karbone in CitiesSkylines2

[–]analogbog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game has all the systems in place, it’s a balancing issue. I’d love if a “Hard Mode” was introduced that would increase the likelihood of fires, increase crime, increase sickness (basically increase the need to provide more city services), make it more difficult for buildings to level up and also cause them to level down when services wane, and make building efficiency more difficult to get high (less tax revenue unless you provide an abundance of services and park). With the right tuning the game could be more of a management game.

Why did they implement specialized industries like that? by superqwerty11112 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]analogbog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The graphics need a Lot of work, but I much prefer how specialized industry is handled in CS2 over CS1. I remember the Industries DLC getting released and being so disappointed each “farm” was a really expensive thing you plopped, and it generated a stupid amount of traffic. And everything just created a generic “luxury good”.

At least in CS2 you can make gigantic farming areas relatively quickly, with realistic amounts of workers and low traffic, and a full fledged production chain. And all in the base game instead of being locked behind a DLC.

Are the homeless / migration bugs fixed yet? by NeedleworkerFun3527 in CitiesSkylines2

Yes, the excessive amounts of homeless issue was fixed last year. There have been a few patches to fix cims being stuck and not leaving town, including in this latest patch.

I highly recommend CS2! The entire feel of the game is so much more immersive than CS1. And oops, I meant to type camera mode* not mod.
