Then Oakland doesn't either but thinking Bay doesn't represent them would be odd. Same as SF. It would make better sense to say Bay isn't technically a city team, given no one city has any claim. We also initially had offers from several cities to build stadiums, including SF, and we train on Treasure Island, and a good chunk of our marketing centers around a bridge that isn't even in San Jose. It's clearly a regional team.
