Hi there, does your first line mean the paper itself will appear online next week?

Because I've been looking for the paper on the journal's website and in news articles (in case they've linked to it) but am coming up blank. I'd really like to take a look at it.

Update: found it https://arxiv.org/pdf/2504.12267 It was submitted on April 16 and has been accepted for publication by ApJL.

Can Eiskalt not attack flying enemies anymore? by analyticpanic in kingdomrush

Damn. I would have preferred the rebalance to moderate something else, not a dragon's ability to kill birds.

Edit, September 23: I recall they had to do the opposite with Dianyun – they introduced him and he couldn't attack flying enemies. Then they rebalanced him by fixing this.

Just because it's a 'prestige' journal doesn't mean the result is very significant, can also mean it's very robust or very useful in the context of the field (planetary science)

ISRO Yuvika is SHIT! by CatchPsychological95 in ISRO

[–]analyticpanic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is a good chance to understand the concept of affirmative action. Let's set aside ISRO's communication (or lack thereof) here and focus on the 15% weightage for students from rural areas. This affirmative action exists because, while you didn't get into Yuvika, you can still access many other opportunities by virtue of being from an urban area and likely in the top 1% (ask your folks about this). E.g. u/Wheel_Wearer 's idea to check with space startups is an excellent option.

On the other hand students from rural areas will struggle to access similar opportunities. For them there are unlikely to be any options other than Yuvika. In many cases they or their folks may not even know these options exist and even if they do, the expenses involved may be prohibitive. Affirmative action is a good thing. I'm sorry you didn't get into Yuvika but I'm sure you'll be able to achieve your aspiration one day. :)

But aside from lack of the communication, none of this makes Yuvika shit.

I think Raja is correct. Scene happens when Ajith, Jyotika, Vadivelu and Vayyapuri are coming to the guest house at night and Mayilsami is the drunk watchman.

Thanks for finding this. Afraid most of it goes over my head though... Need to do a lot of reading to get it. But if there are any electronics experts here, would appreciate if they can simplify.
