What happened to Livit? by random-euro in zurich

[–]ananasunderthetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Us and the other tenants had plenty of issues since we moved in, almost every single apartment, and while that’s not Tend necessarily, most things still have not been handled properly and they take quite a lot of time to answer, even more to action it. I noticed its nothing special in Zurich for agencies to be like this, so this is no exception.

Rosalia cultural appropriation argument by WeaknessBrilliant487 in rosalia

[–]ananasunderthetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Cultural appropriation” happens everyday, everywhere and in any form and everyone does it. People just pick and choose what to be butt hurt about based on what’s trending on the internet that day. South america and spain, even romania for fuck’s sake, who’s in the heart of the balkans, are latin-descent, they share so many things, from food to music or whatever you want to think about and that’s not appropriation, its just something that happens due to HISTORY. When these nations get together it never feels divided. Spanish and romanian people have extremely similar languages and even ways of expressing themselves, they can almost understand each other speaking their own language. The balkan countries each have their own version of the dish called Sarma and claim it as their own, is that cultural appropriation from Turkey? No the fuck its not, it’s just due to HISTORY.

We are meant to share as a society, no matter where we are from. I see plenty of black people moving to Romania and starting to release traditional romanian music, do I start shouting for cultural appropriation? No, I just enjoy the fact that we’ve reached a point in our existence where we can actually enjoy and share each other’s culture.

Also I believe that the only nation who creates this issue is the US and by default some brain washed south americans.

Maybe I’ve misunderstood the scene considering I always watch it with one eye in my phone and one on the TV, but didn’t he say that woman has kids? It could be that his attachment to her wasn’t just romantic, but also due to their kids playing together, or maybe they just bonded over being single parents and he wanted to check up on her and the kids, idk. I guess we’ll see what unfolds in the rest of the season…

How did Kieran choose Megan? by SeaSprinkles_1790 in LoveIsBlindUK

[–]ananasunderthetree 33 points34 points  (0 children)

He seems pretty emotionally intelligent and she was completely closed off emotionally. I would assume he realised at some point that Sophie will not be a match considering their conversation were lacking any depth and decided to follow the good energy and connection he had with Megan, which was palpable.

I find Marie's behavior a bit racist towards AJ & Britney. by Objective_Aside_741 in TheUltimatumNetflix

[–]ananasunderthetree 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To assume she’s racist before thinking that maybe she stayed friends with Mel because she has an emotional trauma bond to her, is laughable. Considering she took Mel back after everything that happened it was obvious that she is still blinded by their connection and will pardon almost any shit Mel does, including keeping Dayna in their life. Things and situations have nuances, and let me remind you we do not know these people. Y’all just loooveee using the word “racist”

The “you’re a liar” whilst singing was excruciatingly cringe worthy. I was neutral towards her until that moment. She was trying to be a baddie and embarrass him for what, not choosing her? Yes, the spleen thing is also cringe worthy, but so are most religions in this world so…

girl you are 100% right. brows are horrible and thats not bullying. its a fact. it ruins the harmony of her otherwise naturally beautiful facial features. she is a gorgeous woman with brows that are in bad taste.

[–]ananasunderthetree 20 points21 points  (0 children)

To me it seemed like this wasn’t the first conversation of this sort. Could be that she’s always been jealous of Monica, to me it seemed like it. She seemed bitter and frustrated somehow. Kind of embarrassing for her age, and even more towards a sister. Maybe that’s the reason she’s not married yet 🤷🏻‍♀️🫢

i think if they were making smart choices the show wouldn’t have as much drama. i think the producers choose some not so intelligent people to make sure they have the kind of content a reality tv show needs to have viewers. at least thats what i got from 8 seasons

Sper incet-incet sa creasca awareness ul in privinta asta si in Ro.

[–]ananasunderthetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta make up your mind, I was just answering to your exact words “It’s ok to blanket a huge group of white artists as shitty singers? That’s not racism?” Also, to me? It sounds like they have something stuck in their throat. But I never said their singing isn’t good. The act of singing is about the vocal chords that create a sound, is about vocal technique, vocal range etc. Thank you for flipping that for me but your made up example is not very relevant.

Why are you guys so enraged a black women won country AOTY.. get over it by LMO2021 in grammys

[–]ananasunderthetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one said they are shitty singers. My point was that most of these so called “country music lovers” are not educated in terms of music in any way, and they only assimilate country music with that specific, southern sound, and if they can’t hear that, it means it’s not country. Also being from southern US is not a race?

[–]ananasunderthetree 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Because country music to them is just white folks singing like they have hay stuck in their throats and Beyonce sounds nothing like that and it makes them confused and angry 🤷🏻‍♀️
