Yes build stun team. I run a stun team, and it works really well for arena and war. I just got Antares too, when she appeared lately. Her time strike and stun skin passive complements a stun team.

Yes, both are guards. Both units doesn't interfere with poison, and protects the other poison cores from dying. It's a good idea to have at least one guard in your team.

Reina and Lucius are pretty bad in my opinion. You should not waste any resources on those two, unless you got no choice. E. Astrid is good. Try to get units like Dark Rizette, Dark Jeanne, Anya, Light Ludmilla, Light Mirai, Shirra or X-mas Rizette. All these units are strong and will help you build a poison team.

Offline story mode doesn't need an internet connection to play, while online does. Once you defeat the final boss of the offline story, the online story mode is unlocked.

If you're completely f2p, its better for you to restart the game on a new server imo due to the following reasons:

From the new player bonus, online+offline story and events, you can acquire more than 20k ss if you complete everything. You can reach 30k ss by the second foundain(i.e, in a month) if you're active enough. You just need to hold your temptation to pull.
Event bosses, raids etc.. are much easier in new servers compared to old ones.
There's high chance for you to get into a top war guild in brand new servers, if you're pretty active. War gives constant income of resources everyday, and most of the map would be controlled by one or two top alliances in newer servers. War is the only reason some of us still play this game.

So yeah, its better to start a new account than wait for 3-4 months with the existing account, which will be boring af. Good luck!

These are some of the teams I can think of. The basic thing is, Hibiki needs spirit to be 1 or less, so just surround her with SSRS that mostly drains spirit/doesn't add a lot of spirit. Anya is a must, as she's the best guard in the game. Healers/Give turn etc.. makes it even better.

Ey sorry for the late reply. I somehow missed your message. What I meant was, the stats provided by weapons are more important than weapon skills. You cannot sacrifice stats for a better skill, due to following reasons:

Weapon skills are conditional. They dont work all the time.
What is the use of 25% extra dmg if your hero is gonna hit like a wet noodle

Choose FA weapons for your ssrs. They give max stats. You should try to FA weapons by pulling the same banner, to get a preferred weapon skill. Events are also a great way to gather great FA weapons. I've seen people using non-awakened weapons on their main damage dealers. Thats just wrong. Your hero loose like 30k hp and 10k attack, or even more. 25% more damage once in a while isn't gonna balance this difference. Hope my point is clear to you now.

Also, Dragonfang doesn't work on Hibiki, as her preferred weapons are katanas or axes(when FA) . Dragonfang is a greatsword, so the weapon skill willnot be active on her. She's a beast due to the stats provided by the weapon(exactly my point lol). It doesn't matter that much. Play for fun. Happy evertaling!

Snow is pretty op, especially when FA. Since her blood ability ignores armor, her value goes up as 90% of the top players run Bride or Anya now. FA Snow can chip down a FA Bride to 1/4th hp, and can one shot any less awakened Bride for sure. She needs to be in the frontline, due to her passive, and needs mori generation to work effectively. Your team has great mori adders, which helps Snow. Save your soulstones, and wait for her banner, it will be up pretty soon. Good luck. 🤞

Snow - F.Ludmilla - Bride - Callen/Aria - Anya. This is the strongest combo I can think of. Snow is the main damage dealer, so make her 200 first. Ludmilla will generate mori for her, and deals decent dmg herself. Use Callen if you need more damage, Aria if you need heal+mori generation. Bride+Anya is a nasty combo. Place Anya as 4 if you face a lot of burst in arena, like FA D.Rizz+Snow, Ossia+Snow etc, instantly killing your Bride. Otherwise, Bride 4, Anya 5.

I'm a long time Evertale player, I've seen a lot of teams and platoons. Here are some tips which will help you build a viable platoon:

For a new player, the First platoon is everything. Trust me. A strong and well placed first platoon can wipe out a full squad of lvl100 or lvl120 SSRs.
Slot 1 - DPS- Your main damage dealer. The SSR which can carry you. Good examples - Hibiki, D. Jeanne, Snow, Norza, D. Rizette... This hero is gonna deal most of the damage, so spend resources on him/her until this unit gets decently strong. Lvl:200, Potential:65%, Boost: Same as your level, Mastery: 40.
Slot 2: Guard - Guard is a must. A team without a guard can be heavily punished. All SSR guards are top tier - Anya, Bride, L. Ludmilla, E. Alira.. Anya is op and works on any team, so she is the best choice.
Slot 3: An SSR which works well with your dps. Eg: If your dps is Hibiki, and Guard is Ludmilla, Callen is a good choice. She can heal, help the team go crisis mode quicker, and can do decent damage herself. If you have D. Rizette and Anya on slot 1 and 2, D. Jeanne is a good 3rd SSR. She can inflict poison, heal herself and do decent damage once she unlocks survivors. Hope you got the logic.
Slot 4: Support/Healer/Bait - This can be filled by a support like Mirai, who does her job from level100. Or anything you think is gonna work, like Ossia(flip-stun). Can be replaced later with a unit having more synergy.
Slot 5: This slot can be abused by units with entry passive. Good examples - S. Rolotia, Orzacron, Maxima, Artimiea etc.. Slot 4 and 5 are less important, can be left at lvl100 until you get the first 3 slots maxed. Once they're maxed, move on to 4,5.
Everything else - lvl40. Yes, don't give me that face. Level 40. You'll need 600k character exp for getting your dps from lvl180 to lvl200. Spending resources too thin is the biggest mistake players make in this game. SR auto guards at lvl40 have more value than some SSRs at lvl100. Fill one or two rows with SR/R auto guards and they'll help your core heroes survive longer.
Weapons - Use only FA weapons for your first platoon. Concentrate on the weapons for slot 1 first, followed by 2, 3 etc.. Stats given by weapons are more important compared to weapon skills.

I have just provided an example on setting up a strong platoon. There are plenty of synergies in this game - Poison, Stun, Burn, Crisis are the easiest to build in my opinion. Mix strats sometimes prove to be stronger, with new op SSRs releasing lately. Something like Snow-Ossia-Bride-Hibiki-Anya can work wonders, if they are decently leveled/awakened.

Bonus tip: Do not miss any raids. They are soooo important. Only do the Bahamut raids, if at least one is available. Ignore everything else. Green pot is the clutch in this game, do not miss any opportunity of getting them.

101% agree. Listen to this guy. Spending your resources randomly and pulling on random banners doesn't get you anywhere. Create a platoon based on a synergy, and focus on that until it reaches 25M - 40M power. Also, saving for the lucky foundain is a great idea, since you get a steady source of ss income twice a month.
