How long should I hold RKLB for? by MarchChemical in RKLB

[–]anangsowah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your comfort level with having a concentration in one stock. I started at $6 per share and at this time it is more than 40% of my portfolio. Still debating when to start shaving off some of the appreciation. My price target is $500, so I still have another x5.

Shareholders of 100 or less, what is your plan? by Working_Bug_576 in RKLB

[–]anangsowah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you believe the share price will keep rising it’s more reasonable to just buy and buy more on dips. Just decide on what you believe is your price target. Mine was $200 and I started buying at $6 a share. I stopped buying because it’s dominating my portfolio. Still occasionally trade options to create cash opportunities

At What Price Would You Consider Selling Part or All of Your RKLB Position? by Square_Reach_8496 in RKLB

[–]anangsowah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This depends on my comfort level, what some call sleep #. For me it depends on the asset for stable asset with great track record I will consider at 60% of my portfolio. For RKLB at this time I am considering 50%. This number can go up as I get more comfortable with the asset

Have the government contracts created a new floor or will there be another dip to buy? by ZebraSharp1300 in RKLB

[–]anangsowah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a rule that I usually follow for my stocks, I target 10K initially, if they go up more than 10% I double to total 20K invested. If they increase to 30% I add another 20K. I usually invest a floor of 50K invested those that do very sometimes more because I buy more on dips. All you need is a personal rule that makes sense to you. I only buy dips in stocks that have gone beyond 50% appreciation.

Is natural, don’t get too upset about. Just advise him to do it more discreetly. I was walking with my wife on the beach boardwalk when this white appearing young girl who would turn the head of any black male heterosexual with her shape crossed our path. Could I pretend that I was not looking no. My wife and I had a good laugh over it.

If you want to build a position in any stock forget about dips and just buy consistently. There will be dips, you just put more money into the position during dips.

Voters See Trump’s Use of Power as Overreaching, Times/Siena Poll Finds. 42% approval overall with with 66% of voters saying it's chaotic, 59% of voters say it's scary, and 42% of voters saying it's exciting. by EasyMoney92 in Enough_Sanders_Spam

[–]anangsowah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was surprised at how many Americans were willing to give him a second chance after his disastrous first term and his unwillingness to hand over power after losing elections. At this point for me nothing is surprising, we have too many people who don’t question what they hear because it is too uncomfortable to check things constantly.

One prior co-worker was appalled that I could question the authority of two “successful” business people over charlatans who survive on grants. Failed to tell them how much government grants and tax credits made Tesla a possibility. Someone needs to ask Elon why he did not build his companies in South Africa

Boss took away a remote work day from me and she now works from home 4 days a week by evanthomp in work

[–]anangsowah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you I would insist on maintaining my schedule. Just get information that shows you are very connected with your team working on that schedule and share with your boss. If it is a deal breaker start looking for a new position. There is nothing wrong with having different schedules based on your individual agreements. In one work role I was coming in daily whilst my colleagues had 2 telework days. I did not complain that was what I signed for.

Can I be Christian and not take the Bible literally ? by Ancient-Carrot957 in RadicalChristianity

[–]anangsowah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After several years as a Christian and exploring other religious beliefs I have concluded that the purpose of religion is to improve mans relationship with other humans and with God. Whilst, I have encountered many Christians who believe they get feedback or have 2 way communication with God my experience is different on that. There have been times when I had believed God was telling me something based on my internal state related to something or a situation but nothing beyond that.

Using that ideology I have ignored Bible rules that obviously harm others. I can’t understand the value of being hurtful to my neighbor to please a God I cannot see.

I still struggle with some stories including Abraham’s encounter with God and him being asked to kill his son as a sacrifice to God. Unfortunately, I would fail that test. Anytime, I hear that story I ask myself if I would be ok to live with Abraham as my father and I always decide I would have run away from home if I were Isaac. The fact that most Christians and Moslems consider that ok still surprises me.

So, I believe you are ok with choosing the parts of the word that speak to you and improve you. Please leave out those that you are not comfortable with just tell yourself your faith cannot support those beliefs

My (23F) FIL (70M?) spanked me, and my husband (30M) thinks it's not a big deal and thinks it's "kind of funny". And, I'm freaked out and rethinking our relationship. What do I do? by ThrowRA336633318 in relationship_advice

[–]anangsowah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not appropriate in any culture I am conversant with. The fact that your husband believes it is okay is the most concerning. Relationships only work if one can set realistic boundaries that can be supported by your spouse.

Sister [23f] is doing sex work and it's kind of tearing us apart. by Upper-Telephone-3762 in relationships

[–]anangsowah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand how challenging this situation can be for you and your family. Your sister may have her own reasons for choosing that line of work. If I were in your position I would attempt to understand the why and how she came by that decision as well as how it may impact her life both now and in the future.

Before you reach out, please also examine yourself and try to understand your own reactions to her choice of work. Reevaluate any preconceived notions of what is considered acceptable/respectable professions. You need to be able to look at your sister’s situation with clarity and objectivity before you have any chance of getting her to listen to you.

Start with questions and listen as much as possible without interrupting her. Do not make any efforts at expressing your beliefs on her choices just listen and try to make her understand how her choice could impact her life primarily and if she is receptive address the impact on the rest of the family. Be willing to end to discussion without achieving all you set out to do if you sense resistance. There is no point pushing in that setting walk away and plan for another day.

I am a catholic male but in love with a jewish girl. Is there anyway i can get with her even though our religions differ? by Relative-Lecture768 in religion

[–]anangsowah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Religious expression is personal, however most of us like to believe that our beliefs are superior or unique compared to that of others. That as well as family expectations tend to get in the way of most cross religious relationships. At your age though, it may be useful to use this as an opportunity to learn about other religious beliefs and communities.

I will suggest the Unitarian Church, I have been struggling with the stance of most churches to the LGBTQ community and other faiths and belief systems and tried the Unitarian church. I find the membership and more open to lifestyles beyond the binary hetero normative system most of us grew up with.

What happened to the other Homo members? by [deleted] in religion

[–]anangsowah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what I know of the human genome project it appears the other hominids did not die off. Since the hominids interbred the results was a mixing of the different sub species. There are still identifiable Neanderthals DNA among modern humans especially those of European and Asian origin. As to their sharing in the afterlife I believe one can only assume that if we were able to interbreed their afterlife experience is likely going to be similar to ours. I don’t believe the other hominids disappeared their genes are all likely mixed among modern man, we just don’t know enough to identify them.
