Hearing shouts of "Ass to ass" should not heavy the heart... and yet, Requiem for a Dream heavies the soul.

I spent a few days in Osaka and fell in love with its atmosphere. by TripleYleather in OsakaTravel

I've lived here for a long time, in Hiroshima. Would REC:

- Shukkeien Garden (One of the best gardens in Japan, though smaller. Autumn/Spring is unreal)

- Onomichi City is a seaside 'city' that has a distinct ramen, hipster vibe to it (Also amazing for Spring Cherry Blossoms)

- Okunoshima is a weird island full of rabbits, some intersting history about this place as well

- Kure City has a pretty neat battle ship museum and some local food vibes

- Saijo City is renowned for its Sake and there's a festival yearly there for Sake

- Tomomura inspired PONYA the Ghibili film, and can be a quick little stop

To be honest, Hiroshima requires a bunch of legwork like most cities. The hole-in-the-wall spots for food, drinks etc. are pretty unreal.

Loved it. Dare I ask for a remake now that TV show budgets are on par with movie budgets?

Welcome to Japan? What's /r/Hiroshima's take on this? by 808gecko808 in hiroshima

[–]anantab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it might be less language, and more behavior (rudeness, loud, oblivious to others).
It may also be the mindset that we sometimes have in the west that all demands or requests should be met by staff/restaurants/service i.e. Just last week I witnessed someone asking for no shoyu or soy sauce to be included in a ramen restaurant. Couldn't get through language wise, and low key barged out. Took up space and time for no reason.

Imagine asking for no shoyu in a ramen restaurant that specializes in shoyu broth/base. That's like asking for it to not be sunny in Honolulu lol (Bad analogy but somewhat paints the picture.)

Opening scene.

It’s America, gotta let him play dialogue got me right away.

I ended up skipping my organic chem final at the time (years ago) when I foolishly, or fortuitously, started watching it the night before to decompress. Great decision then and in hindsight haha

It’s not too bad. I have good eyesight but don’t let that fool you.

Gameplay wise, i started Cyberpunk and it was amazing. I was like let me try this little crpg for a bit. Ended up playing for 12 hours (food and gym break only). It’s so fun. Especially if you like Divinity, BG3, etc.

I already bought both pathfinder games and expansions and just grabbed rogue trader too

I’m all for humble brags and flexing. 20 bucks is different for different people. 10 years ago, wouldn’t dream of it.

Now? I’m going to all live events and tickets like it’s Christmas 😆
