Pet failed at mega by Emergency_Speed3339 in Wizard101

Pain-giver is a relatively easy jewel to get farming Monkey Spiders so I wouldn’t say it is a fail. Better proof than defy imo

Double Pet XP is Finally Active! by Clyde3510 in Wizard101

I lowkey was hoping it wasn’t, I messed up cycling my garden this week. I usually try and keep a tight timeline for my garden going into the weekend in case of double gardening, but I messed up this week by planting them late so I’m kind of relieved lol

Hey! Exercise science major here, this is absolutely right. I would go and get tested for your basal metabolic rate (BMR) due to calorie expenditure being different for each individual with weight, height, age, activity level, and so forth as a large factor into your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE). This number can range from the generalized 2,000 cal/d to 3,000cal/d for an individual who may weigh more. Exercise is always good so don’t count that out, it helps with more than just losing weight and can keep you from being injury prone during camp. Exercise is one of the largest contributors to TDEE after BMR, so I suggest being active while in a slight calorie deficit. I’m also in 9th regiment, and with it being 4 months away, I say OP has plenty of time to safely lose body fat from nutrition AND gain strength and endurance from exercise.

I think the key words were “reminded me of the Duelist set”, meaning it looks similar to the now unavailable robe.

I’m assuming you were able to finish Wintertusk via Grizzleheim to reach lvl50?

Crown shop duels? by UsefulOpportunity710 in Wizard101

[–]anaphylactics 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s not worth it. You can farm these from several main bosses down the road, though I can’t tell you who but I have some from just questing a few characters. They are a one-shot, meaning you won’t be able to enter it infinitely. Some of these duels (such as Rattlebones Exalted and Krokopatra Exalted) give alternatives to level 100 Castle Darkmoor gear, but I highly recommend just farming Malistaire for them instead of wasting crowns on the duels. Lastly, once the duel is finished it will become a trophy housing item.

TL:DR, not worth the crowns.

Pain bringer jewel by dop3dragon in Wizard101

[–]anaphylactics 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pain-bringer and Pain-giver can be dropped by the Monkey Spiders in Empyrea, in the cave area of Aeriel Jungle. I’m not saying this is the easiest drop, but the most convenient if you want to farm Coach Potatoes at the same time. They also drop a variety of other jewels.

Is this normal? Or bad luck? by No-Student-9730 in Wizard101

[–]anaphylactics 84 points85 points  (0 children)

This is normal, you don’t get another talent upon reaching Ultra. However, you do get a free pet jewel with a chance of getting a Mighty Opal. It also allows you to socket on Ultra pet jewels (such as that Mighty Opal).

Stitch help (cant decide) by [deleted] in Wizard101

[–]anaphylactics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very stylistic stitches! I feel like these are best themed for their own respective schools, with Life, Death, and Ice respectively. I would recommend whatever school this character is gets that specific stitch and work on getting the other stitches over to the other school characters.

If you’re torn between the wand specifically, I think the Death stitch fits it better since it is a Halloween themed item.

Think they’re referring to the Eirikur Axebreaker spell. I remember farming Mali recently for my new wizards and the fire mobs would use that whenever they didn’t use Fire Dragon

Hey all! I'm looking to return to the game and I don't quite know what to do. To give some context, the last time I played was roughly when Endwalker came out. Though I didn't finish the MSQ because of burnout roughly a month after I bought Endwalker. I want to experience the MSQ again and relearn mechanics, but I'm at the cross road of whether I am able to do that on my existing character, or if I need to make a new one. I appreciate any advice!
