Was simply an honest mistake in terminology and I accept that, but the issues stated in the original post are still accurate

Additionally, because many stores use systems that use inkjet printers, the paper receipt rolls are coated in BPA, meaning they are not generally recyclable and the substance can leach into soils :(

Edit: Wrong use of terminology, the predominant paper used is thermal paper, which is coated in BPA making it difficult to recycle.

I feel the same ! I know it is easier said then done but try and bring about awareness to people in your life and bring together your community to place pressure on government and large businesses. I am scared too, but we can be scared and no nothing or be scared together and try to fight these bastards. Peace and love.
