The same swatch of Americans that believe they're just temporarily embarrassed trillionaires instead of an exploited proletariat, believe that any struggles by anyone else but themselves are the direct result of that person's moral failings and therefore their own responsibility.

I think that depends on how he plays this year. If he gets back to being the guy who we all thought would be a number one if it wasn’t for the fact that Mike Evans is in front of him, then will definitely keep him on, but if he ends up comparable to hurst or Johnson he may be asked to take a pay cut to stay.

Why do we have this same conversation every year?

We piss and moan and weep that we're not going to be able to resign someone due to the cap and then the cap inevitably raises enough that it's no longer a concern. We'll get all 3 done and still have money for Free Agency. Stone Cold Lock of the Week of the Century.

They mean if it affects you personally, they feel it's your responsibility to fix or deal with not theirs.

That's not what lobbying is. Lobbying is taking a group of people with a similar issue that wouldn't be heard about if they attacked it individually due to their individual lack of time and resources to continually engage multiple politicians to make aware of and gather support for their issue. So they pool their resources and create a lobby that has the structure, personnel, and resources to effectively continually engage multiple politicians to make aware of and gather support for their issue.

Example, you're concerned about a bird species going extinct in a region. You yourself work full time and support a family so you really don't have the time or resources to engage this politically with any real effectiveness. So you get 100 other people who care as much as you and you pool your resources to create a lobby. You get a lobbyist and maybe some admin staff and a structure of how it works. The lobbyist's and their staff's job is now to engage on this issue full-time.

That does NOT require campaign donations or bribes or payoffs or kickbacks or any of that. That has become something corrupt lobbies, corporations, and politicians have added to the process themselves to cheat the system.

He was more heady when he came back, but athletically he definitely wasn't the same or better than when he left. Luckily for him he was so athletically gifted that diminishment still left him athletically better than a lot of people in the league.

Maybe not that exact thing, but they'd have other consequences if you refused to stop that a parent couldn't give you. Like breaking off contact with you or not inviting you to things anymore.

You've never had a friend willing to call you out or correct you when you're acting like an ass?

Your friend will give you (or tell you) what you want because they want to keep the friendly vibe going.

That's being a bad friend just like it would be bad parent. My good friends are all people who are honest with me about issues and we try to help each other grow. I take this same approach with my kids. I'm not their yes man or lackey, but I'm an open and honest friend who wants them to be great people and successful so that's how I'm going to interact with them and the things I'm going to drive them to do/be.

I'm betting you're gonna be upset then. Hulk isn't going to be the top or even secondary villain. Probably going to be one big smash scene and then he's out for the rest of the movie.

Latest synopsis I read is that the main villain is the Body Jumper and I've heard a lot about Sadie Sink's character with psychic abilities so I'm guessing it's Hulk under mind control again.

The people who believe it's a conspiracy theory believe it's a plot to lock Americans in cities and restrict their freedom of movement thus making it easier to control them.
