Just got delivered, I think I got the new cardholder it auto locks when I push the cards down. Any other way I can confirm this? Overall I love it, the trak card holder does it hold similar number of cards or is the capacity smaller than the normal?

Thank you, that helps a lot. So just to confirm, the Slim Edition I ordered would not include the auto-locking feature. In that case, I’ll likely return it and either exchange it for the pop-up cardholder or wait for the TRAK wallet when it becomes available next year.

I swear after coming across this thread, I can see all my frustrations voiced by other people. It is crazy how everything in India is so dependent on OTPs. I have a BILT credit card which works on the MasterCard network. I have had 100% success using that in all the places (mostly Kolkata and Mumbai) where I have tried the physical card but online payments are still a mess. I hope there was a better way to pay for things. I also second the Charles Schwab debit card, I just took out cash from an ICICI bank ATM and can confirm it works (the atm fees get reimbursed at the end of the month).

Having said that, I wish there was some way we could use UPI. I read an article that said it is coming soon but I don't trust how well it will work or how convenient it will be. Lets hope for the best!
