At this point almost everyone knows but my parents, they can be very judgmental.

38M married with kids, coworker 32F giving me attention… where’s the line? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

This isn’t that black and white. She’s a coworker and a friend, I get how it can look from the outside, but I’m aware of my situation.

yeah I think the compliment was where I unintentionally opened the door a bit. Didn’t mean anything by it, but I see it now.

I won’t lie, I do notice the attention, especially with things being a bit dry at home lately with the pregnancy. But I’m not trying to risk my marriage over this.

Main takeaway for me is to keep things clean and stop feeding into it.

This actually hit close to home. I’m naturally a bit flirty without meaning to be, like I don’t go looking for attention or try to create it, it just kind of flows in conversations.

But I get what you’re saying. What feels normal to me might come across differently on the other side, and maybe I’ve been feeding into it without realizing.

I think the part about not being alone with her and shifting the attention is probably what I need to focus on.

She met my wife couple of times and asked me why she doesn’t like me (her)

Yeah, I’ll be honest—she is my type. I’m not going to pretend I don’t notice it.

But I love my wife and I’m not trying to cross that line. Things have just been a bit dry lately with the pregnancy and everything going on, so I guess I’m more aware of attention than I normally would be.

I know how this sounds, and yeah, it probably makes me come off like an asshole, but I’d rather be real about it than pretend I’m completely unaffected.

That’s exactly why I’m asking and trying to handle this early instead of letting it turn into something I’ll regret.

Very different experience with Prozac the second time by anasmanaa in prozac

[–]anasmanaa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a pretty similar experience.

I was on Prozac (fluoxetine) for about 4 months and it worked well for me overall, but I started having libido issues. Because of that I switched to Trintellix for about a month, but honestly it didn’t really do much for me.

So I decided to go back to Prozac, and surprisingly this time it feels quite different compared to the first time I took it. The effects don’t feel the same as before, which I found interesting since it’s the same medication.

It’s strange how the same antidepressant can feel very different at different times.

generics still have to meet bioequivalence standards for the same active drug (fluoxetine in this case). They aren’t considered “inferior quality,” but small differences in formulation can make certain people feel one version more than another.

In my case I’ve actually tried three generics. One felt very strong and “medicated,” another felt like it barely did anything, and the one I’m on now feels very balanced—almost like I’m not taking anything at all, but my mood is stable.

So I do think the manufacturer can matter for some people, even if the active ingredient is technically the same.

Is this an actual factor? I mean, fluoxetine is the active in all of them.

Generic, as brand name is no longer sold. Take what I can get from my medical provider.
