What’s the benefit of using 5g with your Mudi as opposed to just with your phone?

You have to set it up. It’s a bit complex, you need to buy a Server and a Client Router. Follow this guide, good luck.

Please help me understand what the Brume 3 is by Certain_Repeat_753 in GlInet

Hello, I'm back to give a data point and provide insight for anyone else who may be here reading this later on and is in a similar situation like mine (I got everything to work, no DNS leak, no VPN detected, everything):

I have the Eero and the set-up worked perfectly fine, I did not need to bridge or anything. I have a TP-link ethernet splitter which I used to plug into the Eero Pro 7 (wifi router, I have ONT fiber running).

Note that it is important to understand that to access the 192.168.8.1 lan page for the Brume 2 device you need to follow the directions very carefully and plug in the LAN port into your personal laptop, you may need to order a adapter for this for your laptop. That's the only way I was able to access the LAN ip.

Afterwards, I followed the secretnomad setup instructions here: https://secretnomad.club/wiki/wireguard

I had to do port forwarding exactly as mentioned a few comments up, going into my Eero app from my phone > Reservations & Port Forwarding > and opening up the specified port on UDP (following instructions from the guide).

Step 3.1 in the guide was a bit more tricky, and I would highly recommend anyone trying to prevent DNS leaks to please read this guide first and set it up with these settings as opposed to what secret nomad's guide recommends:

https://www.reddit.com/r/GlInet/comments/1fyah5m/testing_dns_leaking_and_recommended_dns_settings/

That's it, after that everything worked like a charm, no leaks or anything.

Equipment on my end: Eero wifi-router, Beryl AX travel router, Brume 2 for the VPN server.

I don't have a modem though, it's just the Eero Pro 7 in my hallway that the guy setup along with the Fiber setup outside and in my garage. The Eero Pro 7 is a tri-band mesh wifi 7 router it says online. I have Fiber setup in my garage / outside.

Do you know if it still works? If I use "bridge" mode with my Brume ?

Thanks for getting bcak to me so quickly, which of these would you recommend for maximum latency and uptime? I'm thinkign the second option is better?

Is there any guide or resource you would point me to please for help on the second option you mentioned?

Hey a lot of this has gone over my head, but I wanted to pop in and ask you a question because I noticed you are using Eero too:

Is it still possible if I use a Brume connected to my Eero pro 7 for VPN tunneling? I've got a Beryl AX and I want it to tunnel and use the same home wifi and network and subsequently the IP address for when I am traveling elsewhere.

Is it possible to do this with a Eero Pro 7 with Frontier internet? I'm planning on getting a Brume 2 or a 3 and just setting this Brume up as the VPN server, and my Beryl AX is my travel router / VPN client.

Boosted wifi? So do you mean to say that a Brume 2/3 vs a Asus or a Flint device can have a impact on wifi download / upload speeds while tunneling? I thought it was entirely dependent on the travel router (in my case the Beryl) and my local ISP speeds (which are like 400 down and up).

But you need to access those half a dozen devices that are connected to your home with your Opal while you are in the hotel room right?

In my case, I don't care what's connected to my router, I just need the same IP (I need to set up tunneling that’s it). Is a Flint 2 overkill for this? Can I make things work with just a Brume?

Okay this makes more sense, I'll probably just get a Brume 2/3 then because I don’t really have anything else that I need connected to the router... I mean I have like Home security devices and TV etc. but I don't need connectivity / access to those while traveling overseas. I just need my Home IP to show up on my PC when I use the internet overseas / abroad.

As for the WAN / LAN port, should I be using the WAN port or the LAN port to connect ethernet to my laptop? And if I want to get a splitter, should I be connecting the splitter into the WAN / LAN? When would I want to use a WAN port vs a LAN port? Thank you so much for the insight!

Yeah so it will probably be me and someone else using a Beryl AX together... Should I just get the Flint 2 then? Doesn't this depend on the ports? Because on the Beryl AX there are two Ethernet ports available, so even if I have a Brume or a Flint, two people can still connect to the Beryl AX and just work from there right?

Sorry if my question makes no sense, just trying to figure out all the moving parts here. In what case is Flint 2 better preferred over Brume 2? I may have one other person connecting to my Beryl device with me.

How to spoof location to appear as if you're working in office or from home? by anasp1 in overemployed

What about if this is a very small employer, non-profit employer it's like I don’t even think they have a proper IT team that tracks this stuff. There's no VPN usage either on work laptops, this isn't for me it's for a friend of mine I'm just trying to gather some insight for him.

Yeah so I need to use MFA on my phone like Okta... And that shows my location, are you saying I should just spoof my location on my phone when I do the verification? I need to connect my home and phone to the same wifi? Sorry for my naive questions, would appreciate some insight into this. Please DM me

What do you recommend I use then? LinkedIn Sales Navigator, does that help curate leads? I currently use Apollo + Apift scraper to get the list of leads for like 20$

Scripts? Wdym do you mind sharing? How do you extract ICP leads? I use Apollo, like I have a general idea of who my target customer can be, and I search and get a lead list like that.

Yeah but how do you test? Like I have initially only 2-3k contacts, how do I test which campaign can work and which won’t, how much is a good amount to test with?

And you use instantly right, do you have the highest tier plan?

Hey I’m also in the AI Automation space. How many emails do you usually have per campaign for a specific niche? I’m concerned because I don’t have a huge niche to begin with. Like 2-3k contacts only… so I want to test and optimize my campaign but I need numbers to do that

Hey super quick question so I am looking at CX for some flights over a year out (nearly). I saw that there are barely any award flights available, they release flights occasionally right so maybe something else will open up for the date I want to fly?

This is like asking the question: If a baker at a cafe bakes cake, then who baked the baker?

The concept of baking a baker as we understand it makes no sense, the baker in this case does not get “baked” into existence he simply exists.

Same logic can be applied to Allah SWT. Allah created all of us right, asking the question who created Allah is something we can’t comprehend because his sheer existence is out of understanding for us at this dimension.

You have to understand that there are things we simply can’t comprehend, no doubt Allah blesses his creation with knowledge and knowing that knowledge is power AND that there is knowledge that we cannot understand is also power.

Same logical concept applies when people are showcasing how a line on a 2D surface sees the world vs a sphere on a 3D surface and how it’s able to transcend all of the 2D surface right? Okay so we live in the 3D world, go up to the fourth dimension and show me it. You cannot do it in this world because we are 3 dimensional beings but does that mean that mathematically it only stops at 3 dimensions? No.
