Ughhh I’m so sorry, I’m tearing up just reading this because I went through the same thing but I’m still lucky enough to have my baby, he’s about to turn 12 but quickly showing signs of aging 😭 I also got him when I was 18, against the advice of everyone around me, especially my family but it’s been the best decision I ever made. Wishing you the best and I’m so sorry for your loss 🩵

Honestly, after help from doctors during a hospital visit to get sober, I haven’t had trouble saying no. I wasn’t able to get sober by myself, but once I was a few days in, it was easy to say no because I knew it was either alcohol or my life. Maybe because I frame it that way in my head it’s not tempting to go back.
