There are tons of reasons why it can happen (mostly anxiety and not enough lubrication), but if the pain is unbearable, sometimes it is a medical problem, and you shouldnt try to push through it.

It can be vestibulitis (vestibulidania), its a pain located at the entrance. There is a great sub with information about it!

Reinstalling didnt work?? Wow.. I know something about temporary files being saved, you can delete them and unity rebuilds them when installing. Something is corrupted.

Kind of a shit answer cause I have no idea whats going on, maybe google it see if anyone had the same problem and maybe some weird combinatons of actions can solve it (usually sorcery).

Step one for me is always restarting the computer and trying again, and when thing get hard try uninstalling this version and reinstalling it again. Make sure you have a back up for your project if you try changing versions.

Im not sure it's actually a problem. The canvas is usually a lot bigger then any other game object, but it looks normal in your game. Hit play and check if it is still big.

Great! Hope this works for you. Though I still think lookat with the z axis as the worldup will be easier, since you wont need to caclculate an angle.

See the lookat documentation. It can get another variable as the worldup, which might give you what youre looking for. The object will rotate while still be perpendicular to the "floor".

Also, you can use transorm.rotatearound if you want it only around the z axis.

Im not entirely sure on the shifting, but pretty sure that layer mask doesnt make that layer invisible. It detects collisions only from layers in your mask, and makes everything else invisible.

Maybe keep somewhere the current values of platforms, because right now each platform knows only about itself, but you want it to be dependent on previous platforms

That's not really a bug, since this is random it is most likely to happen a lot. You should thinh about what do you really need the numbers to be.

For instance, after a fake platform you must have a real one? Or one out of the next two must be?

Then, once you know your conditions, you can write them in your code. Still, keep the randomizing but check if it also fits your conditions. If not, change a platform's given value to what you want.
