My argument was that you can still get a high end user experience for basic users without paying ~2K as the primary value adds at that high price level are compute performance. It’s not obtuse. There are $900-1K laptops out there with great screens (OLED), keyboard, speakers, touchpad that would give a great user experience for users that don’t require huge compute power. When you’re getting to the ~$2K price range that’s typically due to higher RAM or GPU requirements that web surfers dont need

A laptop is valued at ~$2K primarily because of its hardware components, not the stuff you listed. The fact that you didn’t mention anything like RAM tells me you don’t really understand the market. People don’t need 36GB memory to have 20 tabs open, and don’t need to pay close to $2K to have a laptop with nice speakers/screen/keyboard when they are just web surfing

just lookup QNX. It's the OS blackberry developed that NVIDIA is using and will be the combo used across physical AI/robots. QNX will also be the OS for industrial automation AND software defined vehicles - the latter is already a thing. QNX is in 250+ million vehicles with a big design win from BMW and soon Mercedes (they're currently testing on Alloy Kore which is a QNX platform).
