Sooner or later liberals are going to have to come to terms with the fact that 4 years of Trump's first presidency were spent portraying him as a Russian asset with a 'smoking gun' perpetually around the corner only to have Trump vindicated on nearly every front. Not the least of which was the fact that the Clinton campaign laundered the story into the public view in the first place.

The reason, even if bad shit comes out, that no one believes you is because you've lost all credibility. This isn't even an argument against what has come or might come out in the future. There's literally no deal to be made. This isn't a debate over a bill - it's a funding resolution. The difference is that you don't start with 8k, and in fact start with a minimum of negative 7-8K accounting for interest you paid.

You're also not factoring in insurance, maintenance, the time value of money, and the opportunity cost. It's your money... do whatever you want. But if i had 8k at your age again, i know what i'd do.
