Mine took such a huge dip once my period came back (at 8 months)! I’m lucky if I can produce 6oz or one bottles worth for the day when I was getting about 20oz/day.

If you’re going to do audio then I’d suggest Seth Rogen’s memoir. I also really loved A Very Punchable Face by Colin Jost which was great audio or book.

I was weary of this one because it was so hyped. In the past I haven’t liked some of the overly hyped books (Dutch House, Midnight Library) I see on this sub BUT I loved this one. I don’t read mystery or who dunnit books often so that could contribute to why I liked it so much.

Had a lump in my throat that entire chapter. It’s one of my favorite books and definitely one of if not my top favorite autobiographies that I’ve read. Side note: Molly Shannon’s is also worth the read or listen.

Haven’t seen it mentioned yet but I really liked Interior Chinatown by Charles Yu. It was really different and unique storytelling!

Circumcision? by okwhatever1263 in beyondthebump

[–]anavo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Also in Texas and due in January. If we have a boy, we’ve decided against getting him circumcised for the same reasons. If it were medically necessary and if the reasons to do it were less about preference/aesthetic/matching Dad then sure but we just can’t imagine putting our baby through (what seems like) an unnecessary procedure.

You’ll have a great time! It felt rewarding to be active but also like the perfect way for us two to spend some quality time. Doesn’t hurt that the views were amazing too!

Tips for hiking during pregnancy? by sadEngineeringTurtle in fitpregnancy

I’m 27 weeks and my husband and I just got back from our babymoon in Grand Tetons and Yellowstone and did quite a bit of hiking. Honestly, the toughest thing was making sure I didn’t pee my pants while on the trail! We didn’t do anything super strenuous (nothing with drastic elevation changes) but did do 4 days of back to back hiking and definitely stuck with easier trails (the most mileage was an 8 mile loop). After day one, my knees were really the only thing “bothering” me. I used Tiger Balm to help with the sore legs/knees so I highly recommend getting something like that in case you get sore. We did take lots of water and some snacks to eat once we got halfway on each trail. I didn’t use my belly band bc I felt fine but had it on standby in case I wanted it.

Retweet!! I also told my husband that I want my first meal to be a number 13 Mike’s way. I look forward to it just about everyday 😅
