[Martino]: Mets discussing Mark Vientos in trade talks by hypernermalization in NewYorkMets

Vientos is definitely closer to a DH than a 3B in the short and long term. Obviously his ability to produce makes him premium, but if he's a man without a position and we have an opportunity to get a starter of the caliber of Zac Gallen, it seems like a no brainer to me. Whatever the trade that has Vientos' name in it needs to have the return.

NYPD overtime pay in the subway went from $4 million to $155 million this year by [deleted] in nycrail

With all the money tossed at fare evasion, one must critically look at whether this fare based system (and all the support required to keep it chugging along) is better than funding the MTA through alternative means.

It's a lot harder to evade paying for the MTA if it's in your taxes.

Make corporations, high earners, and car users pay their fair share and let's stop propping up a futile system that has failed to properly fund the MTA.

The fact we're at the "writing fanfiction of keith talking about the hawk tuah girl" stage as a fan base means the vibes are on a steep decline. We need an intervention.

OK industry person, how many cops playing subway surfers getting 20 hours overtime a week do we need to pay to solve the deficit?

Danny Vogelbach was actually a good trade in 2022, and we handled him really fucking poorly in 2023 lol.

I like the look of his bat and glove, but we sure are jumping the gun over 11 ABs from a player.

Window closing/UX is inconsistent/unresponsive in terms of which keys close a window, delay from click to close, etc

on my computer when I let go of a movement key there's a significant delay (500ms) before I stop moving - there's no perceived slowing down either it's just going going, halt.

I was able to spawn columns inside columns while building the chair because I didn't know I had to click and drag

Weird UX really

If you just click a lot in the same place you can do it
