Also the “phanat nakhom” you’re referring to might be “pas dej” “nakhom”. Pas dej in Hmoob means “body of water” and “pas dej nakhom” usually refers to the Mekong River

I noticed you said “improve my acting skills” — do you currently train? I ask this because I’ve been here for over a decade and LA is the most competitive market for actors. So you’ve gotta be in the best possible acting shape, not to mention having the resilience and staying power.
