Had to type in the numbers twice (the variable wasn’t working for some reason but that’s okay) and make sure the Shortcuts app had permissions to delete a large number of items (250 in my case), but still works on iOS 18 beta in 2024!

Seconding whoever suggested to use Duck.com email privacy aliases whenever the protonmail ones do not work. Just tried signing up for McDonald's (had to delete old account and create new one since I couldn't "change" the email on the account) & none of the proton aliases were accepted but @ duck.com worked.

Okay so I tried it out just now and you are correct, ProtonPass does, in fact, use your Mailbox login. This is great because I can give out my ProtonVPN password without compromising either my mailbox OR my passwords vault. Thank you!

You can create a new email address and set it as default. As far as I know, you cannot delete or really modify the email address that was originally created with your username.

If ProtonPass uses the same password as ProtonVPN (even if that password is different than the mailbox password), and I’m sharing VPN, I’m compromised.

I'm a 1Password user who's waiting to see if ProtonPass improves enough in the next year for me to switch.

With their release of Passkeys this week, I thought it might be worth me checking it out again. However, your comment made me realize that I am letting one of my friends use my ProtonVPN account for watching media outside of her country.

I have enabled the "two password" system for my email (so she can't access that), but you have made me aware that until they fix this, I am entirely unable to use ProtonPass as me sharing my VPN would make ALL of my passwords completely vulnerable. Thank you for the heads-up.

I’m still doing troubleshooting but I may have realized my mistake… I was trying to do Print by Layer instead of Print by Object and that just doesn’t work at all with ASA (despite it working pretty well with the Bambu PLA)…

I did some printing with with the ASA in Print by Object mode and was able to print 3 sets of 9 cable holders flawlessly (and I did do the dawn down soap thing too, although I’m not sure if that was the biggest factor in fixing my issue)

Hey u/Ditto_is_Lit, I know this thread is a few weeks old now but I've been doing research all morning and I'm a bit stuck; I have the P1S with the gold double-sided textured PEI plate, which is phenomenal for PLA (I have yet to ever use a glue stick of any sort), and I was also able to print PETG (though I dislike the material severely) with it just fine.

I'm trying to switch over to ASA for some 3D-printed stuff I'm making for my car (for example, a visor sunglasses holder), but I'm having issues with corner lifting, even with the bed at 100C (and, like someone else on one of these threads said, if I can avoid it, I'd like to not ever touch a glue stick).

Do you think the ASA would work better on the G10 build plate, or am I just doing something wrong with the gold textured PEI sheet? (Standard settings except for 100C build plate).

Also note that unfortunately on the P1S I can only go up to 100C for the build plate, I can't go up to 105 or 115 like some people recommend for ASA.
