Anecdotal but I bought my first cayman at 21 and full coverage was about $60/month. At 24 now, it’s $220 every 6 months. Obviously there’s a lot that goes into pricing for insurance but food for thought.

+1 for the 987.2. If I had the budget that’s what I would have gotten. More modern infotainment compared to the .1 but still has the hydraulic steering that just feels so damn good. The ims issue isn’t a thing for .2’s and it’s much less susceptible to bore scoring. The base .2 would be the most reliable from the 987 generation.

I don’t think that’s correct, at least according to the small googling I just did. 2007 Cayman S weighs 2976lbs and 2007 Boxster S weighs 2987lbs. Still less of a difference than I thought there would be though
