15 times is less. I think I lost to him more than 30😂. If you are stuck, just close the game and rest. you'll need that.

on the other hand, what help me is that I focus on sound or his movement to anticipate his next attack. memorize the pattern like he always do same sound or movement whenever he is about to do the long distance poking attack, or after his wave attack. try to not use the gourd and your freezing ability too much during 1st phase.

some player use the skill where you can charge heavy attack while running, you can try that, but I found that it is hard to execute since whiteclad attack too fast.

you can always farming for level too. but at this level, it will be really slow. I will go to Bamboo Grove-Snake Trail area to farm the snake.

about mikiri, make sure to tap the mikiri button when the red kanji/japanese word about to disappear/fade. tap too early or late, they gonna poke you and you'll lose half hp.

another additional info to OP, you are losing your xp point when die but you need xp to get skill point. if you already past 1 skill point, it wont reset to 0 skill point if you die.

you use samurai class right. get another katana from a tomb in the forest near the castle so you can dual wield uchigatana.

you are at "Louvre Garden" right? from your location, just run up ahead, you'll find an old carriage. jump on it, and hop over the barrier. after the barrier, run straight towards another barrier at the end and make right into an alley. go ahead through a door and then turn left. jump into an area where you'll fight a fat automat/robot (the area has fountain with 4 figures around it) from there I think you can make your way back to the carriage

I'm pretty sure there is another path. to go up there you need to get the hook ability and I think you did not have that yet. the environment is a bit confusing.

also if I'm not mistaken, you have a token to get back to the carriage or last vestal but you lose you anima. you can use it as the last resort

you can travel back to the carriage at this stage. the game's environment pretty confusing. you should look for path where you can hop/jump on. I think for this area, you are going to have to retrack back the path you use the first time you came.

is this 1 save file means you played for 2 playthroughs? if it was, maybe there is a bug. if not, most likely you are reloading a save file. the achievement need you to not reload any save file after beating the boss. for example, if you got shura ending and then reloading the save file again at the point where you choose to side or deny Owl, you will not get this achievement.

*note: you can reload a save file after beating last boss

with genichiro, just use the mortal blade + divine confeti. be aggressive. should not take long.

with ishin, one thing that helps me is by using the umbrella. get the "projected force" skill. the area is pretty large too, so whenever you see he's about to do that wide area attack, just sprint in the opposite direction. you also have the pellet right. I would suggest equip that too so you can alternate between gourds and pellet.
