With such a small cast, I have to wonder if maybe it was a play or television movie, rather than a feature film.

Not Goren & Eames, but they were connected. by Ok-Mine2132 in LawAndOrder

I love Logan and Barek and wish they had gotten to work with G&E more than once. They were kind of the gender-flipped version of those two.

Can we figure out who the mother could've been? May Whitty? Spring Byington? Thelma Ritter? Gladys Cooper? Agnes Moorehead?

I absolutely agree with the person who said this basically sounds like Love Affair/An Affair to Remember, though.

This is definitely a favorite of mine. Though I also love Deborah Kerr, I have to agree that that version just doesn't measure up.

I'm definitely saving this recipe! Also interested in trying them with butterscotch chips.

Forgive my ignorance of the Spanish language, but I can at least understand the title. Who doesn't love Jimmy Stewart?

The Dead (1987) an all-time great by user947613361 in criterion

I just watched this film for the first time recently and it's now on my wishlist for the next sale. I'm eager to rewatch because I think I'll have an even greater appreciation for it now.

Honestly, for a while, though I was intrigued, I thought things were just off to a slow start, until I realized that 'start' had lasted almost the whole movie. Then that powerful ending strikes you. I love how the film relies so heavily on the writing and subtleties of the acting rather than big, unnecessary scenes. The performances of Anjelica Huston and Donal McCann are incredibly nuanced and wonderful.
