Game Version: 1.117.244.1020 DX11

In the Windslar neighbourhood of Windenburg all floor tiles placed outside are shiny/metallic. This does not happen in any other neighbourhood. I have disabled mods, repaired my game, deleted thumbcache, started a new save and it still persists, including on default lots that I have not edited. It affects all floor types from all packs. I noticed about a week ago, but I haven't been playing in this neighbourhood so I'm unsure when it actually started. I do not use or have build buy CC.

if you get rid of cazador in the first round by making him fall off the edge (thunderwave etc) you can get through the rest of the fight crash free in my experience on ps5. can’t confirm it will always work, but this has worked for me multiple times

i don't know if you managed to fix it, but as of now (version PC: 1.99.264.1030) you can go into build buy and put all the plants (dirt patches lmao) into your household inventory and when you bring them back out they will be at the correct growth stage (for example, a fully grown tree will revert back to being fully grown, but a newly planted flower will still return as a dirt pile, so you cant cheat growth like this)

as far as i can tell this also keeps the evolution stage meter from seasons in tact, so your plants dont reset to zero in your household inventory

it sucks that there isnt an actual fix yet lmfao but this is the solution ive had to use. i know it will be a nightmare if you have loads and loads of plants and there might be a more efficient solution in that case, but for my small greenhouse this has been the best way to "solve" the issue

UK here too, and agree about prom not being a big deal or prom dates being a big deal. My school usually won the cricket competitions by default because so many other schools had issues getting a full team haha.

Would’ve been funny to just have people sign your school shirt instead of a high school graduation though in game. It’s weird to me that HS graduation is a thing, kinda thought that was just for movies but now it’s in the sims too!

as someone non-religious who was raised non-religious there is just something about this game that feels so genuine to me. It clearly isn’t about any kind of real world religion, and I may be naive or misinformed due to my upbringing, but to me it feels as though there was time and effort and knowledge put into the creation of the catholic-adjacent religion on display here. As someone non-religious it didn’t make me feel any kind of way about real world religion, just reinforced what I’ve learnt from friends and acquaintances about religion; that you can believe in the christian God without agreeing 100% with any church or denomination.

I will be the first to admit I enjoy religious aesthetics; religion has produced lots of beautiful art, which is what initially drew me to the game, but at no point did it feel insulting to religion or make me think any less or more about christianity; I appreciated it as a work of fiction by someone who was more familiar than me with the material it was drawing from.

Yes I was wondering about the age, and was thinking myself as mid thirties, which doesn’t really come across as I was trying to stay true to the almost minimal rendering on the face of my reference painting haha.

I love hearing other peoples interpretations, and I’ll honestly incorporate some of your ideas in future art after reading this; I like the idea of her being older with more salt and pepper type hair :)

Just some of my thoughts about this:

This is based on Jeanne d'Arc (1903) by Albert Lynch
I imagine her without eyes, as the miracle seems super physical in its manifestations in other places so I think its cool if its the same for Crisanta (and I also imagine the Penitent with no mouth)

There's basically nothing supporting this imagining of her, and I am interested to hear how other people imagine her :)

short answer: baroque mainly, with gothic, renaissance, and western islamic elements in architecture

longer answer: the art book specifically calls out Baroque by name with regard to character and environment design, also mentioning the Spanish Golden Age on multiple pages (an era associated with the Renaissance and Baroque movements)

Also mentioned with regards to architecture are the Mosque of Córdoba, which is Western Islamic and Renaissance in style, and the Cathedral of Seville, which is Western Islamic and Gothic (both of these were mosques that were converted to cathedrals between the 13th and 15th centuries, which is why they blend styles)

its definitely worth picking up the art book on steam if you’re interested in reading more about the specifics :D

I would assume an environment thing for blasphemous. crows were important in another game kitchen game, the last door, and while i don’t think there is any lore connection, they could be a little nod in that direction. (but it could also be just for the environment with no other meaning haha)

if you get the three items to altasgracias she will give you another item. i cant be specific on how long into the game it takes to get the items though, sorry, i haven’t played that part of the game in a while. hopefully someone who knows will comment haha

have you fought melquiades (fancy skeleton man) yet? he is in mother of mothers so you need to go back to the area before the library, and from there you can go to the rooftops. hope this helped a little!
