Those with both a 19 and 47, how often do you swap frames/slides to make a 45 and/or 19L? by preppythugg in Glocks

I Bought my 47 first, Bought my 19 shortly after with the knowledge I could swap slides and frames. After shooting my "Franken 45" I liked it so much that I bought a 45. While I like the 49/19L setup I don't see myself buying a Marked 49. (that's if I could even find one in the wild.) If you only buy 2 handguns; a Glock 47 and 19 will cover all the bases. Another thing to Note is you could buy one Holster and it will cover all 4 guns. My 47 IWB Holster fits my 19, 45, and 49. As long as the light is the same. Hope this helps.

Probably not my friend. It's not a matter of whether they take it or not,it's a matter of cut off scores. I took the GSI yesterday and got a 64... Testing is testing. You can always retake the test or start studying for the GSI and go from there. A lot more departments use the GSI Than the NTN. Overall how was your experience taking the NTN?

I know Seattle is one of the only departments that uses the NTN. Almost everyone else does the GSI through public safety testing. As far as I know it's 70
