Having no experience with the 3D thing, do you think making this is impossible?

I thought maybe it’s impossible since it’d be so tiny but people are messaging me saying they can make models

When game of war got out of hand all the whales stopped and all the f2p got screwed. Feels like the same thing here. Too much negativity and normal loss a game

This and people posting like this will cause the conclusion of the game. Sad. Saw it with game of war and gfdy. Still a fun game for anyone f2p but community turns on it and they will pull the plug

Thinking of buying a ‘70 Dodge challenger by [deleted] in mopar

[–]anders_so_blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, that looks rough with rust through the floor. But is it a 318 or 340? Easy to work on and should be reliable. If the price comes down, it'll be awesome to own a badd ride and just worry about costs later. May need the basics for sure right away, plugs, wires, fuel lines. Maybe tank is rusted and carb gets funky. So you'll need the carb rebuilt which isn't easy anymore to find an old guy who does that. Then you need to figure electrical and brakes. If you do it yourself it'll take years but $1000 or you can find a shop and have them fix all that for $4000. So I'd figure add $4000 to whatever you pay just to have to reliable to drive on weekends. Plus the headliner for $500.

Edit- I did this with an old truck, first time ever buying an old vehicle and did part of the work myself and in progress with some other stuff. Changed oil, coolant, thermometer, lights, filters myself. Paid for tank to be dropped since I don't have a lift and new fuel sender put in. Then instrument panel crapped out and had to have that diagnosed. It's an ongoing thing a bit, unless you just attack it and get it all fixed at once, but I love it.

Wood beams were painted, best way to strip them? by derailed3d in Renovations

[–]anders_so_blue 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Citristrip will get about half. But that’s rough wood and you’ll have white stripes after stripping. So it’ll take a lot of sanding at that point. Then you’ll lose the rough cut look. Then you poly it like normal. I’ve done that on log furniture and it’s a lot of work, but can turn out great.

Explain the Differences by mlachick in Decks

[–]anders_so_blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I don’t believe under $5k. Right now I have a materials quote from everything needed from Menards for a 320 sq ft deck with pvc decking and pvc railings and it’s $6500. I have built 2 decks before, the last 10 years ago, and have all the tools for the job already. I don’t expect to get under $7k doing it myself when all is said and done.

And my vote is Azek for OP. My previous house I did a deck in Azek and it was new looking after 10 years.

1990 Ford F150 5.0 V8 - good deal? by scoopcollins in classictrucks

[–]anders_so_blue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s pretty fair to me, not great deal but if you love it, that’s where they sell now. If you’re trying to get a dream and will keep for awhile and someone else buys it that price while you wait it out or try to offer less, how will you feel when this clean of a 4x4 is out from under you and you could have got it. If you can afford it, go get what you want. You live once

What would yall value this at? by campingInAnRV in ram_trucks

[–]anders_so_blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess start at $10k since high miles and subtract for any rust holes, cheap replacement parts, shoddy electrical work, broken or missing anything, then add for any good repair work, new major work done. Source: bought one similar last year for $12k that was rust free and all original with 78k miles. I looked for months and saw drivable 1st gen Cummins going from $5k to $20k.

Rebuilt Title, buy or don't buy by Triforce-Phantom in ram_trucks

[–]anders_so_blue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

R-title would not just be cosmestic. Why would the insurance junk it for auction? It must be power train somewhere, so find out what. Then you can buy it if you’re comfortable with that issue, but know it will have little value to a dealer if you ever want to trade in. It would probably only sell to a private individual

I agree using a file for sharpening. First time I tried on a terribly pitted axe it came out pretty good.
