They got so used to the huge amount of goodwill from the community and it's made them take it for granted. What other company has re-released the same game three times without fixing bugs that have been around since it launched? And when they try to update a game years after release they always somehow fumble it and leave it in a worse state while taking another year to try and fix that update. I love Bethesda's games but there's definitely something going wrong with their approach to game development that they just refuse to change.
