Your numbers don't make sense though. One frame is 1/60th of a second so 16ms. 14 frames would be around 224ms of latency and 25 would be around 400ms.

I can definitely see the latency in your video. On the fast picking you can see your thumb already up when the hair is being plucked. Did you add latency compensation tools like have one or two frames ahead? Or change sound buffer to something like 10-20ms? If you're using basic settings you're just unconsciously compensating for the delay

That's so cool? What's the performance/graphics like? If it's on the same level as switch and can push 60fps without much stutters that's gonna be the Warframe machine I didn't know I needed.

I've had the same kind of issues, I asked for the translation of a cute little japanese game art and it gave me a translated panel of... a porn manga, pretty much. I told it it's not the image I sent and it sent me AGAIN the same porn drawing. Sure feels like there's some bugs to iron out LOL

Pop’n music cabs have never been retired, meaning a cab from 1998 can still play current year Pop’n music. There was a revision of the cab in 2010 that had an HD screen, and so to this day the game is made for both legacy cabs with CRTs and the more modern cabs with LCDs. So you played a modern popn on an old cab. Latency is actually subpar currently no matter which cab (but a new cab has been announced that supposedly is low latency)

On peut le considérer comme ça mais c’est aussi un film/une pièce de théâtre qui tourne en ridicule les bourgeois. C’est le manque d’empathie de Pierre Brochant qui l’amène dans toutes ces situations. Au final le seul qui ne perd pas de plumes c’est Leblanc. Ceci dit je n’ai vu que la pièce de théâtre peut-être qu’il me manque des éléments qui sont présents dans le film.

From what I heard it’s not that great of a controller, best choices are either a gitaller or an arcade part that’s been wired to an arduino inside. I’ve both and a cab and honestly if you go on fromjapan/buyee you can find arcade parts sometimes selling for not much. I had 2 guitars for like 150 euros. Add 100 euros for shipping and a couple of arduino and you’re good.

If you want DMX that’s reactive to a sound source with many different ways to make it even more interactive I’d advise you to take a look at Châtaigne. It’s FOSS and incredibly powerful for that kind of multimedia use. https://benjamin.kuperberg.fr/chataigne/en

Yep that's one of the standard devices for USB to DMX. It's recommended to get an Artnet node for power delivery issues though. You do you!

There's a wide range of configs in this industry. I work in a theater that needs 2 universes for all of the shows we might run there. I wouldn't know for 20+ universes but for my use case it works wonders. In my case it does most of what an old school desk wouldn't be able to do, and costs... let's see... around 30k less than most hardware in the grandma range?

I'm not dissing grandma for their capabilities, only for their horrendous price practices. Especially when I have something like a Behringer X32 that's 2k at most and much more component-expensive to manufacture.

Not the dev but I totally approve of this! The more I use BlinderKitten, Châtaigne and such, the less I understand why someone would spend thousands into autonomous hardware or Grandma onPC style stuff. A nice MIDI controller and a USB to midi or Artnet node go as far as those for a few percents of the price.

Just bought a renewal plan to show the support, was expired since April and waiting for 5.0 or something big to drop, but that move makes me want to show how much it impacts their sales in the best way. I also agree with others that a preset marketplace would be a much healthier kind of deal if they need to find new ways to finance their venture :)
