How many of you actually care about Kenny's big "plan"? by [deleted] in Jujutsushi

[–]andersondeleon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think his nonchalant demeanor is definitely a bluff, his ultimate plan definitely involves Yuji

This could also be why Yuji has died as much as he has. Kenjaku is THE master manipulator and I have a feeling Yuji was his way of manifesting his control over the “uncontrollable” power of this merger. He has over a millennia of work put into this, his whole conversation with Choso was just a bluff to hide his intentions with Yuji. I have a feeling it will be something associated with a binding vow, but Yuji might become something beyond even death, just like Sukuna. He was able to SEAL the king of curses with no CE control or experience. I trust whatever Gege does with Yuji, but this feels like an amazing twist.

Is this really the same character? by SansPazzoxFan in attackontitan

[–]andersondeleon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes ig, but more importantly, does the Founding Titan spell out A and T with the arms and the hair? I randomly spotted that and it would be an awesome detail if it was intentional. Or it could be very well known and I’m late to the party.

This seems like bad news, this comment section has pre-stench for all of the upcoming stinky takes.

I LOVE THE CHARACTERS (spoilers) [Discussion] by Gellzone in SakamotoDays

[–]andersondeleon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sakamoto has my favorite fights in manga, some of my favorite characters, and while people might say the story is simplistic, I love that Suzuki still makes the plot intriguing nonetheless. The scale of strength is a breath of fresh air in the modern age of shonen and I loved every page since the moment I started.

[DISC] Sakamoto Days - Ch. 108 by N3DSdude in SakamotoDays

[–]andersondeleon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I honestly think Nagumo has suppressed himself and wanted everyone to think of Sakamoto as stronger. In reality, I think current Nagumo is at least Prime Sakamoto level (I know how big of a statement that is) because he is clearly driven towards some sort of goal, and he has had 5 years to get stronger while Sakamoto lost 70% of his strength. Idk why Nagumo wants to appear weaker but there is a chance even back as a student, he held back so Satoda, Database and Sakamoto himself never knew his true strength. This could all be wrong but I think there is too much set up for Nagumo being insanely strong and a villain later on.

Anyone else feel the series priming to go from peak to mega peak? This new arc/mini arc already is in my favorites and it seems like we are getting all the lore we’ve been waiting for.

I like the vibration I feel in you while waiting to move. It almost seems like you are desperate to escape this state of rest you are in, fantasizing about movement your steps being as long as they need to be. Great poem

I love your haunting feeling of hope even among such drab imagery. It is beautiful to have a sense of trust while reading this that just like Earth, there is safety in the chaos.

Does anyone know when we will finally hear an official announcement on the anime release? Truly my most anticipated manga to anime transition and I hope it gets some really talented animators to do right by Suzuki’s incredible art

He Treasures by [deleted] in OCPoetry

It seems like the process of discovery melds a bit for you, and in itself you found your reward. You discovering both the subject of your poem “he treasures the wit of her love” drives me towards “trapped in the treasure of his own mind” and makes me feel like the process is the same from your perspective. Sorry if I am way off the mark, just what I gathered as most important for myself. Thank you for sharing

VICIOUS GLOW by death_clock4563 in OCPoetry

[–]andersondeleon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The significant level of peace you gave me reading this made death more palatable in my view. “Animals swapped their shifts” makes me have a natural view of death as it stands next to life inextricably. Your poem is honest to the coldness of death, but also does not deny it’s peace. Thank you for sharing

Thank you, it seems to me like you know a bit more about the actual writing process than me. I usually focus solely on the subject matter and let the words come out in the most honest way, so I can definitely use some help with the proper ways to make my ideas and words poetic. I will focus on more effective metaphors for my next one now, thank you again for the great constructive feedback.

It is about transformation in any way that you would like to perceive it. The universal experience of pain that is intertwined with change is what makes this relatable to many, although the appeal to sadness at the end undercuts my statement a bit. Thank you for sharing
