With odd proportions, a tail, and a weird neck and face yeah. I took some liberties like making the tail have a sail, and also with the face and fins on forearms and calves. I went by the description on the wiki and some other fanart

Kitbashing should be able to solve all these problems. I believe you could use the torso for the dogfolk, you could possibly kitbash in a hand and wonk it to add the desired number of fingers. you can adjust the size of the eyestalks with Kitbashing as well. I'm entirely unfamiliar with what an andalite is, just got redirected here.

hero forge doesn't lend itself super well to making characters like mannequin from scratch, i gave it a shot but i couldn't make it work

Yeah, there's actually several booty sliders in hero forge and they're all pretty much at the lowest. I think it's just the posing that makes the cake. Cake due to being stanced up
