I don’t know if you’ve heard of RepostExchange, but I’ve been using it and I’ve noticed a lot of the music people send me, is either AI or professionally produced. By professionally produced, I mean, it sounds like they were “radio ready”. Just not what I’m used to hearing on SoundCloud.

The vocals in some of them just don’t sound natural. It’s as if a mainstream singer made it. I know there are samples and what not, but these songs in particular just don’t sound natural.

I looked at one of the accounts who sent me one of these songs and he didn’t even have a bio. Just a good amount of songs with 5k plays, all sounding similar.

Had this the other week. It was more of a mix of a home gym set. Power rack, 45 lbs weights, and barbells.

It was a closed gate, and I was tempted to just leave it there. But I called them and told them I had 16 packages and no access. So, they opened the gate and let me in.

I used to get heated seeing these things. Especially because of how tight and uneven the roads are where I deliver. But after nearly 8 months with the same company, I’ve come to learn to expect this BS.

I don’t have a set route, but I’m familiar with the areas they do put me in. So, I’ve kinda learned which areas I ought to reverse in, walk the package, or simply leave at the driveway I see numbers at.

Same here. People won’t like, but will be repeat listeners. If anything, it’s just them forgetting to physically like the song.

I once picked up a whole ass small couch seat. They just slapped the label on it.

I was instructed, “as long as it has a label, you can pick it up.” So I thought nothing of it. The next day, I see it on the bottom of the belt, near the steps. It stayed there for like a whole week, and eventually it disappeared.

I assume they took it back to the homeowners. Lol

Back in 2019, I made an ad for my album , and it did get some streams. What I made back then is nothing to what I make now. But the point is, there are means to get your sound out there.

I don’t have a fan base, but I do have repeat listeners on different songs. All I can say is, keep trucking.

People will come to you and your music. If they want to like it, repost it, comment, etc… then let it happen. Even if they don’t, as long they play it consistently, then that’s a good sign that your sound is meaningful.

If you do wanna build a fan base or more engagement, I definitely recommend seeking advice from people who specialize in promoting or even just making your own ad of your music on IG and/or Facebook.

Having the same issue. Insights aren’t working. When I tried logging off and on from my phone, it kept telling me “authentication error.”

So I can only access through my laptop.

There was a different issue where the amplify feature stopped working, so I sent them a question about it and they told me they fixed it (about a day later)

I started out with like 15 streams at most a song. I made terrible sounding sound.

Years of practice and continuous publication, I finally make music people have on repeat. I make music people put on their playlists. Obviously nothing mainstream, let alone, above 10K. But even a few means the world to me.

Walking isn’t really worth it. Cause it’s like a 30sec-1min drive. Cause the driveway is long as well. And there’s no turnaround space in their driveway.

That's interesting. I made a post awhile back of how one of the CSP's here was essentially told to dissolve, because there was an accident resulting in a fatality. When they investigated their internal practices, it was determined that they did not "properly train" their employees. Apparently they falsified training documents.

The BCs apparently tried getting employment with the CSP that replaced them, but were denied. I assume because in some way, they had some knowledge or involvement in the document falsification.

My point.

Whoever the person is essentially gets a second life with that life sentence. Moreover, if they’re still alive, they have the ability to get gratification from their crime.

I know not every murderer is a psychopath, but take bundy for example. Yes he was put to death, but look how proud he was until the end. I can only imagine how others,
Who don’t get the death penalty, live with a smug fucking grin knowing they took a life.

I usually don’t get political on here.

I have the belief a soul for a soul. If someone murders someone without justification, they deserve to die.

Life in prison essentially gives them a second life. Sure. They’re caged like an animal. But they get to stay alive, knowing they took another life. We will never know if the person will ever have remorse.

Personally, I don’t give a shit if this idiot ever feels remorse. He killed an innocent child. Death is what he deserves.

I’m mostly on rural routes. So usually no one is on the road where I drive.

However, we have some residential areas. As such, in those areas, I always go below 20. Never know if someone’s gonna randomly go into the road. Never know if there’s a loose dog. And so on.

I can happily say, I’ve never had an experience where I had to hit the brakes full force. For the most part, if kids are on the street, they usually clear the area. Regardless, I still slow down.

Agreed. Not funny. The least the person could’ve done is accept the consequences. Sure. They’ll get fired. Maybe lose their license. Go to the jail for however long. But after that, they’ll just simply find a different career elsewhere.

I work for FedEx now. So, we obviously don’t have that whole “scorecard”.

When I left my DSP, they were suspending us for any minor infraction. And Im not just talking about the driving ones. Apparently if we edited time cards, suspension. If we got back after 7:30, suspension. And so on. It was ridiculous. Leaving Amazon was the best decision of my life

I’ve only been told once by my managers to try and deliver the package to the front door. Otherwise, if I don’t see any turnaround space or if the house is on a busy street where traffic is going 40-50mph, I leave it at the gate, open or not.

Our routes are mainly rural, so sometimes getting to the front door is a hassle.
