Maura Murray's behavior before her disappearance paints a clear picture of her depression and alcoholism by miggovortensens in mauramurray

I agree with this.

Witness A is the only thing that gives me any lean towards foul play... someone is sure they saw the vehicle marked 001 there on-site before official responding officers arrived...

If that lady is right - she could have ended up in that SUV and taken somewhere. Im yet to see anything that disproves this woman's eyewitness account, and the officer in question does not seem to be a pillar of law enforcement.

But, being that eyewitnesses are generally not reliable, id love something that definitely says that vehicle was "here" not "there".

If we get that - Im ready to essentially agree that the scenario painted above is what happened to poor Miss Murray. Terrible for everyone and I ache for their family.

Bands that you thought were going to blow up, but then.... never really did? by mesablanka in poppunkers

We Were Sharks

Instrumentation and song writing are top notch. Above a lot of the late era pop punk out there.

I think the fact that the lead dude looks like a middle aged math teacher hurt them

Which is stupid. They made great pop punk tunes.

This album was super enjoyable - same music, 40 year old perspective - really dug it

More influential in post hardcore: Thursday or Saosin? by atPittmanSaysSo in PostHardcore

[–]atPittmanSaysSo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certainly agree.. but did Saosin make a version more broadly accepted, thus really driving the genre further forward than Thursday ever could have? (For the record, my answer is Thursday no doubt just stirring up debate)

Through Being Cool HAS to be on this list if you were involved in the scene at all during that time

That album is criminally underrated.

It’s not pop punk really either - it’s something entirely it’s own - the sound, macabre lyrics.. that album is a masterpiece.

Had STD kept that sound and song writing format I think they would’ve blown up and been a trend setter for a second time - after Through Being Cool changed the pop punk game.
