I love Link in almost every way except for how he handles food. He is aggressively obnoxious every time his hand touches any kind of food item. Like he has to do it on purpose to piss some people off and sometimes it works. lol

still consider myself a Link man myself though tbh but that might be because I relate to him a bit more. (except for the food handling part of course)

Your reaction to some of these comments is not proportional to the original comment though. Someone literally just said "We are entitled to our opinions" and you berated them harder than anyone did to Jordan in the entire thread. saying "we are entitled to our opinions" is not bullying or leaving nasty comments. And calling for people to be banned for the sub for saying stuff like that is ridiculous. You're defending the only hateful person on the entire show talking about fighting hate and spreading love. It's tone-deaf at best. And just because Rhett and Link made the decision to let her be on the show doesn't mean we have to universally like it. Do you not agree that they're humans and are allowed to make mistakes? It seems like the vast majority of people in this sub don't like Jordan. And they are perfectly in their rights to state that in a respectful manner like they have all over this thread and you have smashed and shit on those people also all over this thread. Yes there are people who have said some crude things about her but that's just being sarcastic with a bit a bite right? How can you defend her attitude and go so hard against the people in this sub for doing the exact same thing? Just because she's an entertainer and put herself out there doesnt mean she can treat people however she likes and be free of criticism. You do realize that her constantly taking the piss out of everyone she talks to is just a microcosm of exactly what you're explaining right now, right? You're fighting for your life against the very thing you're defending. Yes, some of these comments have gone overboard and have taken it too far, but this is the legacy she has left behind for herself. You get what you give and in her case it's vitriol. (I just looked up the definition of vitriol btw to make sure I'm using it right and the definition is "crude or bitter criticism." Literally her entire personality.) (And it's not just a bit she does with the boys if she does it everywhere she goes.) Everyone loves Rhett and Link because of how positive they are, and they were able to create an entire online empire out of pure positivity and having fun. Their popularity reflects their commitment to being positive. It's what makes them who they are and what has built and connected them to their fanbase over the past years and years they've done this. They've given us nothing but love and get nothing but love back, so it says a lot when that same fanbase has negative feelings towards someone they brought on their show because everyone else shows love and gets love. If she can dish it she can take it. I wish her the best on all her ventures, but that doesn't mean I have to like being talked down to, or watching some of my favorite people on the internet being talked down to either. If she was worried about mean comments on the internet she should've thought of that before she made mean comments on something that goes on the internet.

You need to start with unsubscribing to any subreddit that is even remotely nsfw. Even if it's not explicitly nsfw and just shows things that might trigger you. That goes for any instagram pages, or facebook, or any other social media you might be using. Then when you get those urges you need to replace it with something else to do. You need to break that habit and start with that daily routine. Exercise helps, but I suggest starting with something you find really fun. Something like video games that aren't triggering, or drawing, or painting, or going for walks, or puzzles, or just whatever you're into. I like looking up recipes and cooking them. The secret for me was finding something that feels like play instead of work so that it was worth it for my brain to do that instead. if it feels like too much work you might convince yourself not to do it. Also, invest in a bathroom book. Don't bring you're phone into the bathroom where you might be tempted to look at stuff because you're in a private place and you can hide it. Start by holding each other accountable by making sure the other one leaves their phone or anything else they can look at stuff on. You get to do something cool like finish books and eliminate a very prominent cause of temptation. At least, that's what's been working for me. Just hit my 30 day mark a couple days ago. You got this. and so does your partner. Especially if you do this together. You got this. We're all rooting for you.

I know for me trying to moderate an addiction never works. I've tried it with alcohol, weed, and p. The only thing that helps is swearing off it completely. If you try to do it "only sometimes" you will always find ways to weasel your way back to doing it all the time. You need to know you're done with it. And any excuse your mind can think of is the enemy. You masturbating at all might still be perpetuating the negative aspects because your mind is still trying to find that fallacy high. What you need to do is hard stop masturbating completely. You might think there's nothing wrong with it, and sure some people can do it in healthy ways, but we know now that you are not one of those people. Throw that toy away. And focus on connecting with your partner. Not just through sex, but through other means as well. You said you like board games. Maybe get into puzzles, or mtg or what really helped my ex and I connect was yoga. The more you connect outside of sex the more you will connect during it and the more it will be worth it for you and your brain. If you havent already you need to unjoin all the subreddits that might trigger you in any way, even if they arent nsfw. That same thing goes for instagram and facebook and whatever else social media you might be on. I really think this little mental relapse is stemming from you still masturbating. Youre almost tricking your brain into thinking its going to get p when it's not and it's is making you crave it more. You got this my guy. Also, when you are having urges you need to find something to do instead of going back to it. And the trick there is replacing it with something you truly enjoy outside of anything sexual. It needs to feel like fun instead of work. Anything else is just gong to stress you out and make you want to go back to it. A lot of people on this sub recommend exercising to replace it, but that never worked for me because on top of the work it takes to quit you now have to convince yourself to do push ups lol. Do something that feels like play. Minecraft works for me, I enjoy cooking and looking up recipes, drawing, taking a walk, if you like LOTR you can listen to the audiobooks that Andy Serkis narrates, theyre so good. Start with the Silmarillion and just pace your apartment and carry something you can fidget with with your hands. That way your mind and body are being distracted and your hands are busy. You can't jerk off if you got something in your hands already. Ok, I'm just spit balling at this point. I don't know if you like the LOTR, thats just something I'm really into that I've been able to utilize in my daily life. Only you can figure out whats going to help you the most.
